What did you do in your modeling workshop today?

VOMAG… German for Road Hog.

Inspector 172: Volkswagen?

No. Not a VW, but you can fit two in the cargo bed! :red_car::red_car:

Getting some work done on the Hawker Hunter FGA-9 today

@Arch-Stanton Thought you might like to check this out. This is a buddy I used to shoot for a bit. Did Austin raceway with him. He is driving the Black Ferrari in this pic of the video crash.

He won the Ferrari cup challange in the united States a few years. They gave him the race car you see here for winning for appreciation.

The following is just a few of the pics I took of his cars.

That scene made me think of @Cheyenne 1944 diorama.

Yes. When he posted the jeep and trailer I tried to find the opening scene of “Castle Keep” with its muddy jeep and trailer but couldn’t find one on YT. You’ll notice VW fan in the above scene is Scott Wilson (In Cold Blood, In the heat of the Night).

@Mrclark7 I remember the Micky D’s Ferrari, but I’ve never seen that shunt.

Reminds me of the airborne Mercedes CLR incidents during the Le Mans 1999 practice and race.

Yesterday I had to work, there was no time to build. I hope to get the engine finished today. I’m not sure, I have to make the fingernails of my girlfriend today

But it’s not much left

I have seen the movie, but I can’t remember the scene. Maybe it’s cut off in the german version

Got this together during the Formula 1 race.

It’ll fold over further but since the radar array isn’t glued to the frame, it falls off. The frame is just pinned to the base so I can disassemble it later.

Finished these 2 this weekend, except for the final weathering.
Haven’t decided whether it’ll be rain and mud or frost and snow yet.

Took some pictures so that Matt can make me added horns for the M915 build. Not a detail to scratch build…3D printing is a great added tool to the hobby!

If you can, replace the wheels with resin castings. My TAMYA tires burst on my model

This Dragon PzIIIN was waiting for paint for two years now. And today it finally made into the paint booth. This will be winter wash, so the panzer grey is a bit rough now.

Looks really good. I like the winter-tracks

Okay, that was’nt a productive day, even for me. Some parts still to come, not much. But next weekend I will finish the engine.
Have a nice week

I really like this, as best behind a half-track, that’s my absolute favorite. I get the sdkfz 8 from dragon, it’s still waiting to get build, but it’s a very nice model. Then one of the trumpeter guns? That would be great, but by now it’s to much for my talent, maybe some builds later

Hacked open the rear canvas. :hocho:

So, is this your first floaty thing? :face_with_monocle:

Inspector No. 172 attacked by “small” squid! :ocean: :squid:

Didn’t quite get the Magach painted but I did manage to get a dark brown preshade on.

Excellent advice. Those tires will fail, sooner or later.
The tires in mine were broken already in the box, 30 years ago,
long before there were any resin replacements on the market.
