Looks great! Weathering looks real, and just enough.Stowage real, too, not messy. Great stuff.
That is one very green vehicle.
Thanks for the kind words. In due time, a crew will be added. I have the figs, but need a head as 3 of them have a beret and only one will have a helmet? I will look for a Hornet set on a modelling show in October.
Yes it is, Real Colors bronze green. I have to wait for decals, then I will weather and wash it.
Another step forward. Got the spare wheel and ? hydraulic oil tank in place and ttrimmed the tailgate extensions. One hinge broke during the “releasing” process, but again HL provided a spare set. Smoothed off the studs/wheel nuts on the spare wheel and will attempt painting the stud “holes” tomorrow.
This week Primer White has turned into Vallejo 71312 IJN Medium Grey all over my double build. Plus yellow leading edges and a red fuselage band on the Zero. Still a long way to go …
It is looking great so far.
If you are talking about the box next to the spare tire holder, it is a storage box. The left side has a door for access.
Thanks Gino, it’s coming along OK. I should have checked out a few more images to confirm that container’s identity. The features on the piece aren’t so clear although I guess the absence of a filler cap should’ve clued me in.
PS. Any idea where this rig kept the pioneer tools, if any?
EDAS!
Jeez Gino,
Just discovered I had the wrong readers on when I checked that pic.
At 2,75 it’s very clear to me now
“What did you do in your modeling workshop today?”
More like “What did you do “to” your modeling workshop today?”
Das PanzerWerks Airbrush Station then…
und now…
Just part of today’s packing session in preparation for my big move to Texas. … No more living in denial… no more modeling until September/October-ish.
—mike …
We’ll still be here waiting…
that’s the first person i thought it was too!!
Joe
Things moving along on my 1/6 Lorne Greene BSG Commander Adama figure. Still have much to do before he’ll be finished, but I’m happy with how he’s progressing.
Should be a joy after that Kinetic M109.
Yeah, that’s the idea. Need something easy and trouble free.
Got one in the stash so I’ll be following this build for sure!
Count the days and look forward to your restart in Texas, Mike! Hopefully everything will arrive at your new home undamaged … Moving for us modellers is always a risky event.
I wish you well on your move, I’m sure your period of abstention will soon be over and you’ll be back behind your work bench before you know it.
Watto.
