I like your painting handles there.
All of them fired through an US Ordnance M2A2, mounted in a RS4 RWS
Nothing too exciting, just the lower hull and running gear sans the wheels. Tomorrow the wheels, idler, and drive sprockets. Tracks are one piece rubber joined with a metal pin. Easy peasy.
Built this scrap yard or dock crane in HO while adding a few extra details plus
paint, weathering and groundwork.
Also scratch built the small winch tower you see on top of the cab. Before that when the cable came out of the roof it scraped its’ way along the top, laying right on the boom. That just did not seem right??? In any case it adds additional visual interest and more detail to an already nice model.
Yesterday I was able to do a little bit of detail painting on my Toon Calliope.
These little critters are a fun and nice break from a “serious” build.

Was working on this to keep my sanity while I was building the Doher. Details need to be added but the basic camo is on and clear coated. It’s the Trumpy kit of the T80 BVM. Unusual color scheme but quite different. May not show well in the photos but all the colors have been faded. Also they are all custom mixed. Thanks for looking.
Definitely one of the more interesting schemes for the T-80- that blue shade always grabs the attention-top class paintwork!
Thanks Karl. It may look a bit garish to some, but after weathering it will be significantly toned down. I really like finding unusual colors and combinations. Russian green and the more traditional color schemes get rather boring after you’ve done them several times.
Looks like things are picking up…sorry😣
Great work.
Watto.
Oh DV that’s a beauty. Love the scheme. Love the colors. So dynamic but no, not too garish at all. Don’t tone things down too much or you’ll lose the look. That blue grey is outstanding. I can’t wait to see this at AMPS.
You’ve got quite the hardware waiting to be finished on your bench there!!!
Got some AK 3rd gen OIF sand on the wagon. Wheels went on nicely - after even more sanding……On to lights and mirrors on Friday, then the gen trailer and 2nd gen and some cable spools to go in the ‘box.
The box is still dry fit at the minute, I’ll set it in place after lights, filter, mirrors are in place.
This HobbyLink set is really nice!

If you get Amazon Prime video, have a look at SAS Rogue Heroes.
Lots of interesting Jeep footage there.
