What did you do in your modeling workshop today?

Would love to see those built!

Meanwhile, I finished off my dragon Tiger I initial production for the Tiger Battalion campaign:

Today fixed yesterday’s mistake with the transmission cover. Removed a raised seam detail assumed it was mold seam.

Added detail back as a recessed detail.

The hull went together, just needs some fiddle bits.

Starting feel Shermany…

Tank commander primed, side skirts painted, tracks primed black and dry brushed and started painting the tyres on the wheels, hull got a gloss coat and built the tow ropes.

Finished my 1:32 P51D tonight. Real fun putting it together the decals behaved themselves for once either that or I’m getting more patient finally.

That’s a a head turner there Joe- the red and yellow markings stand out beautifully- particularly those stripes on the tail.

Didn’t harm any styrene or resin, but I did do a spring cleanup and organized my stoffe!

My wife said I can use the sunroom and the big 2.5m table anytime!

Isn’t it great when they give us permission to do stuff? I’m a lucky guy too, I have a whole closet that I’m allowed to store my modelling stuff in.

My wife gave me a whole spare bedroom to set up my dream shop in! She’s a keeper!

I keep my kit stash upstairs in a double-door closet!

My kit stash takes up most of my basement. 600 kits on shelves.

My stash is in one room in the basement along with my spray booth. I do most of my assembly in my office/classroom.

I selected the space. I asked for no permission. I am the king of this castle.

After too long away due to circumstances I finished Killer, starting now with a small sandy Kwajalein beach base.

@SSGToms
I used to have a STASH, but I culled it and donated much after it was stagnant a decade-plus. I have fewer than ten, and plan to build one out before acquiring more. USUALLY! (LOLZ)

@brekinapez
Reminds me of a song: “But it was just my imagination, running away with me ……”

Working on the turret in the dinning room by choice with the sliding glass door open best of both worlds…

Amazing how similar that pot looks to the turret… :wink: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

…will all shift back to the dedicated hobbyroom soon for painting & weathering…

Turret assembly mostly wrapped.

Can anyone ID this kit? I wanted to use it as a part-load on my M125 and trailer combo.

If it’s recognizable on here, would it be period-appropriate?

TIA.

Those are fuel bladders used in Vietnam, I need a set of these but haven’t committed to it yet. They’re suitable for your truck or helo :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks Terry, I’ll maybe put them on the M125 with some miscellaneous cargo. The ICM airportable transport pod will go on the trailer.

I think my wife can’t see light reflected off kit boxes or something. She’s been in my stash room a few times but the only comment she’s made in 15 years was, “That’s a lot of models.” and then she walked back into the garage. She can’t really say anything considering the state of her closet.

I shall never repeat that tidbit should I ever make her acquaintance!

I have that set. They’re much better than the old Verlinden set. I have photos of them still being used in Iraq in 2008, so you’ve got options. I also make partially empty ones cast in resin.
