Over the weekend, i touched some painting and sprayed the dark green camouflage.
It’s not perfect. There is a spot or two i do not like, and having to make up the opposite side.
I just needed the paint a little thinner.
Other times i look, and like it’s fine.
I have to seal it up and continue.
What do you think?

My choice would be Tamiya Matt clear rattle can. A dullcote like no other!

I think it looks very good. I like the soft edges. Looks like a guy with a sprayer standing on the ground or climbing up on the tank was doing it. Seems to match your directions very well in addition though that’s not its strong point.

That’s a very interesting vessel, i think i need to know more about that good looking thing…
In my workshop the ORNITHOPTER went on. I placed a little box in the nose and fixed steel balls as weight there, added a custom sideplate for the wings and mounted the original engines in another position at the back.

Believe me, I’ve put up with those lows and worse over many winters here in Alberta. It was actually close to 30 below for a fair number of days; but also quite windy too coming down from the mountains making it feel like the minus 40’s. It was plus 12 today and yesterday though, the Chinook arch was in full effect. Crazy Alberta winters on the western edge of the Rockies.

Banff, Canmore, Hinton - that neck of the woods? Used to drive Kamloops to FSJ via Hinton a few times when we were in business. Interesting drive in Winter. We’d been in Africa for many years before a brief stay in England then coming here so -38c was quite a shock to us. But life carried on.

Yeah kinda right in the middle of that neck of the woods. My ex and I lived in Hinton for ‘99 until 2005 actually. Was a great place to live. We had both grown up in small towns in southern Alberta so Hinton fit us perfectly. Rocky is a couple hours from both Edmonton and Calgary; and about 3.5 hours from Hinton. Hinton is a very roundabout destination to get to from Rocky, you either have to go a long way out of the way, or trust the unserviced trunk roads if you want a more direct route. Not a way to try to go if you’re not properly equipped with a good 4X4 and safety equipment lol. But a very picturesque road, if you call logging roads, roads… better to take the long ways there. My Chevy Equinox can handle the two extended routes, but neither is a cheap drive in fuel costs. I do miss the economy of my diesel Jetta; but my Chev is way more comfortable. It’s one of the only drawbacks to living on the edge of the Rockies in west central Alberta, you’re a couple hours from just about anywhere… my teenage daughter most importantly. I have lived in Alberta since I was a toddler, so I’m an Albertan through and through. I don’t really enjoy winters anymore, but I’m not afraid of them.

Small but important job today. Modified the M54 kit hubs to accommodate the Panzer Art wheels I’m using a Razor saw and DSPIAE sander for the task.

Had a fairly productive day of clipping Ju 88-4 sprues and dry-fitting a few of the sub-assemblies.
Here are the fuselage, wings and control surfaces.
And the landing gear assemblies.
Bit of work required to remove seams on the springs — to be expected, I guess. 
…
Assembling the landing gear made me a bit nervous, as the instructions gave me a brain freeze. It seemed all too easy to mix-up the wing contours — lost track of right… left… front… back… top… bottom! 
Fortunately, I did a little Sharpie color coding on a few parts. … When I finally committed to applying the Extra Thin cement, things began to fall into place. There were even a couple of audible snaps as parts came together nicely… whew! All said, fit on this model is incredible. Thank you ICM!
In addition, I’ve got all the engine parts clipped and organized for assembly.
