Cleaning Day :bubbles:

Hi guys!
Here’s my latest progress on theJu 88A-4 Torpedo Plane.

Spent the past several days organizing and clipping the remaining sprues. Sub-assemblies are complete. Wings and control surfaces are in a box. Everything has been cleaned and waiting for primer now.

Nacelle sub-assemblies and propellers (left). Engine sub-assemblies (top right). Landing gear sub-assemblies (bottom right). The parts on the right-side have already been primed.

Eduard (648244) Ju-88A Early Wheels. I decided to go without the optional PE ring.

Next stop… primer. …:paintbrush:

Thanks for having a look!

Base color down on one Tiger:

Hoping to base the other Tiger later and then put the Olivgrun secondary on this one.

I paint a group of figures just to had some ready  .

First step is white mat from classic Revell paint, that’s a good and strong primer .

Then i paint only with Vallejo colored washings.

Just about finished with the Mikr Mir Delphin. I just gave it a semi-gloss coat and only need to add the prop and clear part to the sub. It’s being built for “Torpedo Away.”

My first build 2026 (okay, started in November 2025) is close to the finish line now. Cartograph decals are a pleasure to apply! And it’s my SAAB No. 7 ! :sweden: Do I have a soft spot for them? Yes, I have …

Did some detail painting of cab fittings today. The 2nd fuel tank, from the Hobby Link set is now in place with all the other frame fittings. The cab floor is a dry fit for now and I’ve started on the windshield. I’d like to finish it open but fat fingers may prevent this.

The “Delphin” is done and a Polar Lights Enterprise (1/1000? snap-tite) is now on the bench.

I built two more for the Tiger Battalion campaign for a total of three cats, but they are by no means complete as I have bases cut but not finished and then the tanks need to be weathered to fit whatever I decide on with the bases; I am likely going to whitewash the initial Tiger per the option in the kit.

Tracks are metal and still need a little adjusting; I have it so the roadwheels are still removable so I can weather behind them later.

RFM Initial (Panzergrau) and Dragon Late (done as the Final option)

So that’s three more kits out of the stash.

That “kits out of the stash” point got me thinking. My current project will take;

An AFV Club M54

A set of Panzer Art wheels

A Hobby Link M543 wrecker conversion set

A Hobby Link 15 ton tilt-deck trailer

A Tamiya M106 armoured mortar carrier

A set of AFV Club tracks for the M106

And finally some MiniArt gas bottles - all out of my stash…..

It’s amazing how involved this hobby has become since I started out as a kid!
