These are some of the things I’m working on. All in different stages of the build.
I’m a non-starter on the multi-build approach. One kit at a time, that’s me.
I am easily confused………..
Makes me feel happy with my current strategy ![]()
Here is the seaplane in primer and finished. For this scale, the detail of the 3D resin print is impressive!
Link worked. Thanks
I am easily bored. Eventually I’ll finish each one.
Those look really nice, well done!
Wow! Which kit is the 3909? (sorry if it’s been posted way back or something - I’m getting a bit less than mobile these days, and that’s just my brain).
Thanks for that - I’ll have to check out if it was within my self-imposed Cold War criteria ie up to 1989 (think Group of Soviet Forces Germany/Western Group of Forces) - the minibus range always look similar to me, but I’m always on the look out for what I call a secondary, or supporting kit to say, an AFV or SP Gun.
I’ll get digging but thanks again - I thought it might have been a resin kit.
More on the M543. The crane and deck are nearly complete, with the beginnings of MERDC camo. I’ll stencil the truck and add the next 3 steps of camo to it, once I’ve done everything needed to the crane/deck. It’ll need some weathering and accessories.
Looking good.
Love the build and maybe it was asked before what color did u use here?
No, I think you’re the first to ask; the base colour is us army light green FS 34151. A roughly equal amount of Forest Green FS34079 will go on in splashes with contrasting sand and black brush painted to finish the job.
The Vallejo light green looks too light atm as it really seems to glow in the light of the spray booth!
It really caught my eye in the pictures but I think it’s better to go bright and tone it down then to end up with something way too dark.
It’ll get toned down for sure. Mud, oil and some Vallejo Dark European Earth wash will follow. It’s the Tropics Verdant MERDC btw.
