What did you do in your modeling workshop today?

Jeez, isn’t posting pictures of 1:1 places against the rules?!? That’s just excellence right there. If I could get 1/32 of that realism I could call myself a modeler.

I almost forgot I had clear UV resin so I started using it to make headlights and put a thin coating over all the various marker lights. This stuff is great it makes them look like little gems so I’ve been going back to a lot of my older builds and giving them the UV resin treatment.

Was going to say, there used to be a nice patch of grass outside 5SA Infantry base in Ladysmith KZN, where it could have stood gate guard- but I doubt it’s survived the decades and associated transition to the SA(N)DF.

Took some pics today of my 3D printing area. Been working on it for awhile. But the replacement laptop for my 14 year-old iPad was the biggest cost item at a little over $2k.

Should start printing next week.

@ Richard (RDT1953)
The bike is already a stunner!!! :star_struck:

In the meantime, work continued on the Ju 88A-4. Her starboard nacelle received some elective surgery. As much fun as that was, the doctor decided to call it good enough and left the room. :lab_coat:

An Evergreen Styrene bandage was added to reinforce the seam for clean-up. :adhesive_bandage:

With no damage to internal organs, the patient is now in recovery. :face_with_head_bandage:

Thanks for having a look!

Painting my meng T72B3, anyone else find the meng kit easier to build than the trumpeter one? The trumpeter one can still be build but it does have more parts and I found the tracks more difficult here too. I plan to do my B3M with a figure from meng with decals from ask to do the victoria secret one (I got another for captured by ukraine and one with a cope cage ).

I’ve airbrushed the base color on my Bulgarian Renault R35 and built a figure for the TC:

Because the R35 were delivered to Bulgaria from the German trophy stocks they were all painted Panzergrau. The tankmen used the Italian tank helmet.

Cheers,

Now that is a beautiful paint job, but I do hope you’ll take care of those underlyng blemished on and around the hatch. Hell, you may have already done so by now.
