Thanks for all suggestions and looking.
The compressor ( suitcase size )and airbrush are not a big problem,
the spray booth closes on it self as a suitcase,
It’s where do I store, the paints and cleaning products for it, this is why a bigger boat will make it easier for an all year setup, and in winter Im able to carry on building and painting.
Well that didn’t go as planned with links.
That’s fine Frank, the recognition is appreciated.
A little work on the wheels today, now it works. I find out that there are 2 different kinds of rubber-parts. I was wondering for some weekends why they don’t get on the wheels
To my excuse it’s really hot in germany
Have a nice day✌
Marco, the work looks great and that’s an excellent picture!
I had never realized exactly how high that second ammo rack went.
I did nothing today yet but last night i finished up decaling a 1/72 THADD tonight it will get a final look over and it will go into the pain booth for the flat coat then final assembly.
I want to put up some pictures, but I don’t think I’m good enough to show my work in public.
Don’t worry about that!
At least you manage to build something which many of us really want to be able to do (time constraints usually).
Most importantly: showing what you have done could result in useful tips and hints about how to improve.
I might throw up a couple of pics on this build its the last of three I built for a coworker I am very ready to get back to building for myself again.
@Brantwoodboy Michael this is an excellent friendly forum and the vast majority of the members have excellent manners. The rare bird that has an issue quickly gets his wings clipped by fellow members and/or the moderators.
I encourage you to be confident in sharing pictures of your model building work.
I’ll share a couple of images of my old projects from back in the day to put my money/ego where my mouth is on the quality nature of this forum.
Best Figures I’ve ever painted…
^^^^ if you see these guys pan handling on the street run in the other direction, they are as unsavory as they look…wink
Likewise, my first and only JagdPanther build to date from ~1976…
OK? So someone gave him two “happy pills” and then punched his eyes?
Actually it was …
…then he took the the happy pills…or bath salts …
I think, here are many guys who build models they look better then my results. I like to let others see my work, even it’s not as good as theirs, I hope that the day will come when I get closer to the level that they have. And I like my models, perfect or not ( more not😂), and I can see that every model looks better then that before. What I see from the other ones here helps to get better✌
Seems so
Thank you for your kind words. The most parts are not glued to put them of for painting. Just some small ones, they get painted with a brush then
No such thing as ‘not good enough’. All skill levels are welcome. We all started somewhere and our journeys are all somewhere behind where we would like to be. As Robin said, getting advice or suggestions from other members goes a long way to all of us improving our builds.
Dont worry about how yours look, we all start somewhere, I have come across alot better builds then myself, some first time makers, who do dioramas at the same time😉
Nice choice. I love those 1/72 ACE kits!
I do not. But it’s also true, that I still have my limits, that’s okay because I know that I will get better with build and paint more models. But if it would be easy from the beginning, it would’nt be fun, right?
