I moved houses recently. So right now I’m in my workshop setting it up ![]()
My B-26 is slowly getting paint. This is how she looks after 2 sessions yesterday and today. And she already wants to stand on the nose even without the front wheel attached …
So it looks as if I have included enough ballast weight.
I finished an Italeri 1/72 Sepecat Jaguar Gr1 as an Op Granby warrior. The pilot and ground crew is from Hasegawas US Pilot/ground crew set, but it is hard to see in this scale.
Switched out the narrow saddle for a wider, beach cruiser, saddle on the Mongoose BMX. Also, raised the height a little. Much better now ![]()
yes, much better now ![]()
Today I will go on finishing the jagdpanther, it’s hard to me to get motivated when it’s that hot. Not really hot, I think some thunderstorm is on the way. Strange weather since 4/5 weeks, hope it gets better when we go to holiday in 2 weeks.
Have a nice day✌
This plane looks cursed, what is it?
Awesome looking Jaguar!
@RougePilot Sorry, I don’t know.
This club explained, they don’t do Show & Tell because it takes too long. They cited an example of 30 models at a meeting taking 1.5 hours to cover.
I talked with the build but mostly about his black roofed Chrysler. Build quality on both was outstanding
.
Do shows usually display a tag/nameplate for the models?
Yes, they did add info tags, I can recall the builders first name but not the planes name. I think in a few days their newsletter will upload with additional pictures and details. I’ll try to remember to check it and reply back with details.
Can’t recall what it was called, but there was an article in the IPMS mag about building it maybe a year ago. One of those funky interwar racers IIRC.
I believe it’s a Bugatti 100P Air Racer. ![]()
And here’s a kit that was reviewed at AeroScale:
'Bugatti 100 Racer.’

Spent a little time testing Stencils & Pencils.
After testing discovered if the pencil is very lightly applied on first pass then the mark can be removed with a a little water & with a paint brush.
Decided to commit…
Touched up markings with paint etc and need to tone down the numbers.
I started an Airfix P-40B Warhawk. This one will be done in a couple of nights. Enjoyable little kit.
Looks really good
KS, I gotta’ ask… Did you qualify for BMX Best Trick at the Ventura Summer X-Games this weekend? … Nice plush landings with that new saddle!

I didn’t enter this year because I might have turned out some of those youngsters with my mad skillz ![]()
Today was All about that Base, apologies to Megan Trainor.
The stash of bases for the panzer division was down to scraps, so visited Hobby Lobby to restock. Lucked out as they had a 40% off sale.
My amateur attempts after lots of sanding in the garage and moving to the backyard.
Minwax Prestain
Miniwax Dark Walnut
Couple of coats of Miniwax Wipe On Gloss Polyurethane.
After curing for 24 hours will add felt to bottom of base and it’ll be ready to use.
