What the postman brought today (Armorama)

I ordered the M1001/M790 ELT Pershing kit from Germany this past Monday. It arrived at Frankfurt for international shipping this morning. Let’s see how long it takes.

Maybe it’s that long when I order because it’s not from a shop. I have ordered from private sellers. I always thought, this 3 weeks is fast, it’s okay in the future to

I will wait till Miniart releases that version as Roly mentioned one won’t find aftermarket decals and I not skilled/patient enough to hand paint. Beside y’all forgetting I would actually finish building something to get to that point. :upside_down_face::roll_eyes::pensive::crazy_face:

I have been eyeing that one. I have them all but the veggie boxing. They are all a little different. Haven’t decide on it little vignettes or as a collection.

Have just started my Tempo and noticed that the plastic is a bit soft. So take care when you build them.

That is with most MiniArt kits… You need to take great care, specially with the very thin parts…

A friend of mine made this of his Tempo:

That’s is awesome looking. Congratulations to your friend. :+1::+1: Miniart has a number of accessories in the kits and separate kits that can really enhance a vignette/diorama.

As noted by Erwin, that is familiar “knock” on the most of their kits. I use a high count micro saw to remove most of the parts.

'Looking very froward to what you do with this! I cannot believe this is at long last now available ('still need an SS-20 mind!)

Agreed. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bid on and lost auctions for this ridiculous thing:

I think I’ve seen that built up somewhere, possibly on this very site but some time ago.

I suppose the icing on the cake would indeed be the complete missile train of the Pershing 1 system, though God knows where one would store it.

In a perfect (modelling) world, we’d also have the GLCM system, and as I said, the beast that started the whole thing, the SS-20; again though, these would all require far more storage space than I suspect the average modeller has. My out-of-control stash has the M65 cannon, and a resin Scrooge, and I have no real idea where I’ll be able to store them - built that is (!) and I’m not too sure when that will happen.

I’ve got the new Trumpeter Topol M kit on it’s way to me on a slow boat from China. Yes, the 16 wheeler. I’m not sure where it’s going to fit in my stash and I’m not positive my workbench is big enough to build it! But I can’t wait to open that box!

I saw one of these at last year’s Belgian IPMS; the box was huge! Luckily, for me, it doesn’t fit into my self-imposed Cold War constraints so I was able to pass - just.

I absolutely love Trumpeter Russian armor…not sure why people rag on them.
