Tempting, but if you’re in the US the postage to UK would be a killer…
I’m also looking at this company’s products. Please tell me: what are your impressions about the visibility and tactile sensations of the printed layers?
Yuri,
The print is flawless. There are no visible or tactile print lines on the kit anywhere, except 3 microscopic blemishes I found on the front glacis plate, which are easily sanded out. This is the best 3D printing I have ever seen and all the parts are smooth and detailed. Just superb!
I have pre-ordered this one, first time that there are more informations to it. Just 3 months to wait
And only finding out after it arrives that, to increase the detail, the lubrication port bolt on each track link is a separate piece…
Just received three books from David Doyle for my wedding anniversary but my wife got the package first, so no pics.
Visual History volumes for the Panzer I, Panzer II, and the Sd.Kfz 251.
That’s possible, but I think that will be more a problem with the trumpeter-kit, they release the same half track. I hope, that " das werk " don’t overdo it as trumpeter likes to do. We will see in september✌
Oooh interception!
Want to hear something funny and sneaky? She thought she was getting me only two books but when the sales price was applied it was much lower than was listed in the actual description so I added the 251 book and it only came out $6 over our budget. This wasn’t a milestone anniversary and the modern gift was one of those awkward ‘just buy each other a gift so we can report some damn earnings this year’ gifts; this one was furniture.
‘Honey, I got you a stool. Thank you for a lovely 29 years.’
‘I love it; and you of course. I got you an end table. Is there a light fixture anniversary? I can get you something to put on the table then.’
We want to spend big only on the traditional time line. I know how to make furniture and have done so, so why would I buy it?
Anyway, I opened the box and removed the 251 book so I could start on some upcoming projects and resealed it. She’s unknowingly getting $60 worth of furnishings as recompense instead of the $50 we agreed upon so it works out for all parties concerned. She did put the package on my dresser when she got it from the mailman so it was kind of fair game, but she wrote ‘happy anniversary’ on it which sort of turns it into a gift at that point so the whole thing is a gray area and as you know, better to do and ask forgiveness.
Nice! Where did you buy them?
Ok, as I’m finishing my Shi-Ke, buiding tracks for the Strv, have to paint the sdah 115 and 116, to paint the Seehund and Biber , something new arrived:
Brilliant justifying!
@TeeAge , direct from The Quick Wheel Store - Quick Tracks. Couple of pages of tracks to check out. Shipping from Poland to the USA was prompt and reasonable.
They also have a nice selection of Aber, AK Interactive & Ammo by Mig to check out.
There worth mentioning there’s a niceclist of IDF tracks to check out.
@Khouli Roly, wasn’t sure if you’d see QuickTracks and wanted to mention the Namer tracks.
Thank you! Looking in to it. Prices are very reasonable.
Have you tried to build any of the tracks? How do they compare with Friul?
I’ll snap a few together tonight in the hobby room and report back.
I want try to paint some figures since a long time, I choose this one, I have read that the master box figures are really good. The color-box from vallejo includes all the colors needed for a civil war soldier, makes it easier. The book includes many color-views from uniforms. I will start tomorrow, three weeks holiday, from now✌
Yes,I use them,I really like their tracks and they are reliable.
Looks like I’m not the only one buying tracks. On a whim earlier in the week, I had a look for a set to replace the crazy multi part tracks in Takom’s Mk.IV. And hit jackpot with Masterclub.
These are really nicely cast and simple click together assembly. Definitely saved my sanity and I can finally build that kit.
Takom would have you assemble each track from 5 parts. 92 links on each side. That’s 920 parts before I even begin the tank itself. That’s the definition of cruel and unusual punishment.
