I wish they would make a set for the Lorraine Schlepper.
Thanks to James Lee @Petition2God for a nice trade, plus tossing a few extra 3D printed parts for dunnage. The only other Dragon kits I have is the Easy Eight i converted to a “Fury” Sherman and an old 90s era BRDM-2 kit.
Whew, laid out some green stamps on this order didn’t you Tomi @related, let us know how you new Iwata works out, I’ve had mine about a year or so and I love it.
Cajun
Woot! Biggest haul in many years today when the slow boat came into port finally. Cyber Hobby did an outstanding job
The Dragon 2 n 1 Panther G plus a couple of other stay cats arrived today!
Free shipping, couple of hard to acquire Tiger kits at a good price. Very happy
Very nice, nice to see Magic Tracks with the Tigers.
Does anyone do these for early and later M1 Abrams?
Might you need a partner for this build? I bought one in error awhile back. I’m in BC Canada.
I used to live in Calgary! Would have taken it for sure. I am in Texas now though and shipping is probably prohibitive
Hey @Petition2God, I’ll need your services soon.
PM me?
Uh oh… Haha! Let’s talk about it later.
The tiger models from dragon are often called the best to get, what do you think?
Not much bought from the US Nats, between not needing anything, prices and travel considerations.
I did have a resicast order waiting on me at home.
The card inside.
Marco, here’s my .02 of opinion & view point. My impression is the choice Dragon Tiger kits are still the best overall unless one wants a model with a full interior. Dragon has so many releases it can be tricky to find the choice versions.

One of my close friends who was a very serious armor modeling guru felt like the Dragon Tiger kits were the best. He was very happy with the Dragon Tiger’s he assembled. Ì greatly respected his opinion on all AFV kits & topics.

I’m looking forward to finding out first hand how Dragon Tiger builds this winter. I’m pretty rusty on Tiger nuances these days. I haven’t built a Tiger since wrapping this Tamiya’s Late Model in 1995.
Hopefully, I can do better with the next Tiger.
Dragon Tigers build up very nicely you will enjoy.
For all things Tiger Tank, I recommend using David Byrdan’s website, Tiger1.info. The model kits section contains a gigantic amount of useful information. The rest of the website, largely covering his efforts to reverse engineer real Tiger Tanks, is also extremely interesting.
That is yet another wonderful model. I have a 1/35 Porsche Tiger from Heavy Tank Battalion 653, built in 2007, but it kinda sucks…Last year, I started down the road to building a normal Tiger using the Airfix kit but it was so disappointing I returned it.
Ì am sure it will be great and I’m looking forward to your contributions to the build and paint of the tiger:+1:
On the other side I often heared that the sdkfz 251 from dragon are not really good. I never had one of them but when many people say so, it’s often right. So it is with the tiger. I’m curious how you think about it
The first day without rain and storm in our holiday. Someone told me about a nice little book store here, I will visit it tomorrow. I have to distract my girlfriend first but that’s easy, a lot of things to see for her😂
Have a good time

Hi Marco, my standard for the 251 are Friday night at 3 am in the local bar at closing time beer goggles low.
After the terrible 1970’s Tamiya 251/C & Nitto kits. I still find the mid 1990’s Tamiya 251/D an acceptable kit but time has passed it by in the eyes of many. I’ll probably be happy enough with Dragon 251 kit(s).
Terry Ashford’s
Perth Military Modelling - Dragon Reviews gives excellent quality commentary on various Dragon kits.
In the 251/C 3n1 review Terry wrote, “My only reservation with this continual updating is that you could argue as to why all the correct details were not included in the kits from the start instead of rushing the kits out leaving buyers of the first release kits feeling a little letdown seeing all the improvements in these latest kits with even more reported for the soon to be released 251/22.”
I think that sums the Dragon 251’s pretty well. The kits seem to improve as they go along. I’m looking forward to slapping that 251/23 together this winter. Since its basically a paper panzer '46, paint scheme may get interesting. Maybe something ridiculous like modern digital style as a joke in primer red, panzer gray & RLM olive?
