From days of yore when I kinda knew what I was doing…
Doug, exactly!
Inspiring!
Love it!
A+++
Tried to find this What is the kit number and Manufacturer?
Bought 1/48 Kubelwagen, it arrived with a free airplane plus another stray kitty.
Time to get back to building and stop shopping.
The 251’s from afv-club should be the best, I have read that. They have vinyl tracks but there are enough AM-products.
The 1946 theme is not mine, but it looks interesting. As far as I know was the 251/23 a project from 1944, but never realiced because the pak was’nt compatible to the sdkfz 251.
I would like to share the web-site, but I have no idea how to do it.
The academy jagdpanther looks interesting too, I want to get the dak panzer III from them.
Looks like you have a lot to do the next time😀
Marco, I’ve heard some good things about AFV club 251’s but have seen a couple have issues with hull alignment. Haven’t built one so I don’t know if the issue is the kit or the modeler.
Links are pretty easy mobile and probably so on a desk top or laptop computer as well.
Check dispay for a clip looking icon.
Paste in the link and the name you want to call the link.
Something like this will appear. Click reply to post link.
There is nothing wrong with shopping. A coupple of kits for the stash has never hurt anyone. Wait actualy part of my stash has bent and nearly broken a dresser a few years back.
For now, I am channeling almost all my model budget into things that will improve existing projects.
These went out of stock with my usual supplier, forcing me to go to an alternate source and pay almost twice as much. If I had simply tossed both destination kits in the trash, that money would have paid for a modern super model, resulting in a much better outcome in much less time with far fewer problems.
I continue to question my model building instincts.
With respect, you should take a look at the Meng Jagdpanther.
I have not purchased or built either model, but based on reviews and pictures of sprue shots, the Meng Jagdpather is a work of art. That is the one on my Christmas list.
Doug, thank you for the suggestion. I’ll add a Meng JagdPanther to the wish list!
Edit update - 13 hours later…make it back to the hobby room, glanced over to looked at the stash…and what did I find…a still shrink wrapped Meng JagdPanther right on top in the front.
…definitely got to build more and shop less or start an inventory spread sheet…
I try it next week to send web-sites, when we are back home. Thank you for that explanation
The jagdpanther from ryefield are good too. I don’t like their tracks but the quality is on a high level
Yes, I heard it at my club, Resicast will stop. What a pitty…
Still you can order some things they have in stock this year.
Very, very impressive site Tiger1
Thank you for sharing.
But, imagine I would like to build one, which Tiger to choose ?
Yes, it was posted here which led to my order.
This is the result of two years of casual shopping. A ten foot long, six foot high pile of kits that won’t fit in the Holy Stash downstairs and now takes up the entire middle of my studio. I have just enough room to get around it to my workbench and computer desk. I have been forced to start an austerity program and have not bought a new kit in two months. I am depressed and have the shakes. The HEMTT with Phalanx and Vomag with 88 are screaming very loudly at me and the voices in my head are agreeing with them. My shivering hand clutches my credit card 24/7. There is NO space to put those two kits but I must have them. The cool factor is just too overwhelming. I can’t decide whether I need a twelve step program or not.
I have the exact same problem. It’s like an alien organism that keeps growing.
The good news is, guys like us are the reason there are cathedrals and pyramids in the world. We just need to build more.
You’re gonna’ need a twelve step ladder soon.

And your studio looked so orderly (roomy) when you set it up lol …
