I know, I know! I’ve purchased myself out of my dream model room! Thus the radical halt in buying models.
Yeah ok … I will believe that when it happens
… you cant help yourself … as soon as Sprue Brothers reduce something … you’re like a fox in a chicken run …
I’m going to try to hold out until the end of the year…even that is a long way…I’m a hopeless spruaholic.
I don’t know, I see enough vertical space for two more kits.
Excellent encouragement Ryan! Will you be my sponsor?
Yes but it will cost you a few kits. I will take good care of them.
You need a 7 lesson course in box space optimisation.
Stacking them willy-nilly on top of each other in some random order results in chaos.
1 Sort them according to size.
2 Check if a box in the official stash has some wasted space around it and find a box that fits the available space better. Move boxes around to get rid of wasted space.
3 Check if there is wasted space inside the boxes.
4 Check if two kits can enter a co-habitation relation.
5 Store aftermarket items, if any, inside the box of the target kit.
6 Check if the volume of some kit could be reduced by assembling some of the parts, a partial build.
7 Could point 6 lead to a reevaluation of point 4?
Edit: Lesson 8: Check if some kit can be re-housed in a smaller box (side effect of lesson 3)
Wonderful Mike!
PS: I have a 6 step ladder in my apartement which is sufficient for my stash …

Looks like a model-store😂
You wanna see something ? I literally CANT spread my feet under the table as I write this post, because of boxes full of who knows what modeling stuff, and yes thats an old matchbox dio from the 70s
that means Matt can now buy 4 kits … thats true selfless commitment Ryan
I do what I can to help out fellow modelers.
Border model is really good, I like their models. The panzer IV models from them are nice too. What about the figures? Are they as good as the tanks?
Camping with the grandkids, in north wales, west coast, near Harlech we went shopping,
Had to be done
They are resin and look really nicely detailed… Nice and crisply moulded.
These showed up about a month earlier than expected…
The tracks allow me to finish underway projects. The Panzer 38(t) was on my wanted list for almost 20 years. It will serve as a painting practice model that just happens to be very accurate and have individual link tracks. All three kits are going straight to the wash basin,
