I should probably start building these instead of just collecting them…
@barny Terry, I hope the VJR will deliver. When the current two white washed modeld are finished and both are very close, it’s back to a Dragon Panther D that needed its olive & red brown camo colors.
Arrived today, final piece of hobbyroom reorganization. All the aftermarket is getting organized and going into the appropriate labeled drawer.
Need to know about that piece (size etc) and more importantly if it does work good for aftermarket storage after you use it?
I find it difficult to find something that “works” with our hobby needs and is decently priced.
hope I’m not repeating a question but where did you order this from and what’s it called.
I have 4 short totes; 1 for PE, 1 for resin, 1 for track sets, and 1 for barrels and they’re all full. Every time I start a kit I rummage through each bin for the aftermarket I know I have for it. Wade’s cabinet looks much more organized, but I could probably fill 3 of them.
So, Wade @Armor_Buff where DID you get it? It’s really cool looking and I could use it in my shop for more tools and paints.
@Brantwoodboy Michael & @SSGToms Matt,
Hobby Lobby mail order. There’s a link below.
Might want to check out the reviews. Lot of folks say it’s cheaply made but for what I need it should be OK. Small children might be at some risk sharp edges etc.
There’s a Prop 65 known to cause cancer in California warning (everything causes cancer in California) but I’m sure my aftermarket parts are far more toxic than the cabinet!
I wouldn’t put foodstuffs near it etc.
I have two large black totes and a few wire racks for most of the aftermarket/figures. I do have a bolt/screw draw set for my 3D parts that works ok and two thin draw set for the Archer/Quinto Studio and Evergreen products. Decals are whole separate problem that needs help. Wade’s setup seems to solves some of those issues.
I’m splurging on kits again…
I got a Bereg and some more aftermarket for a current build on the way. Very generous prices on the Grumble and Bereg, they’ve been on the wishlist for a while, so I had to. And now I’m running out of room
Spent too much money lately even though 3D file sales are down.
This Dspiae reciprocating sander is the best of their tools I have bought so far. Its finesse allows you to sand even some small delicate parts from my 1/35 Thunder Model US loader. Very happy with the purchase.
However, at the same time, I could have saved $17 bc I did not know that the sander comes with various sanding heads and adhesive sanding paper sets. I bought extra 8 heads and sanding paper stickers unnecessarily… I guess they’ll last a life time.
And these 3D prints from Ukraine! These parts from Res Kit were not cheap for sure but wow, I am impressed. They are nuts! Their 3D print quality puts me to shame. The 1/35 CH-54A folded main rotor parts for the ICM kit are the most complex, detailed, and well-printed things I have ever seen from anyone:
First, the Tarhe wheels:
Apache’s M230 chain gun in 1/35:
Tarhe’s rotor 3D prints once open the box:
The parts:
I learned quite a bit just by looking at the prints and supports. Highly recommend these from Res Kit!
Well with a few aircraft added to the stash I thought it best to even up the odds and add some Anti Air defence, so postie brought me these.

With these still to arrive

Those prints are insane
I am deeply impressed …
Great haul!
Nice BIG haul!
BTW: Nigel’s Modeling Bench is doing a YouTube build log of the VOMAG. Nice looking kit…

Who hasn’t had a Matchbox Saracen back then in the sixties?
So now I layed my hands on a Dartmoor piece.
Quite challenging, but I love it!
And a new knife to cut corners
Thats some serious package of anti air equipment!
Got to keep those peskie flying things away
One more arrived yesterday while I was at work.
