Tried it. For seams and small area repairs its Mr Surfacer 500 for me.

I don’t think so.

My experience with Vallejo putty has been if you have small seams around lots of rivets, filling in around aircraft front canopy or fill in gaps around 1/24 side mirrors where using other materials is more of a con than a pro it works great. If you need a real putty Vallejo is not the putty to use imho.

Magic Sculpt or apoxie sculpt are legit heavy duty putty’s where you’re making folded tarps, sand bags etc.

Not that I have noticed.

Hi, i’ve not used magic sculpt, but the Vallejo putty is clean up with water before it cures. It is ready mixed, so no blending.

Yes, its definately for seam filling and small repairs, you can’t sculpt it like milliput for example.

IBG Models Tankietka TKS z NKM wz. 38 FK-A 20mm

I did not realize these vehicles are smaller than a French Renault UE. The full interior looks pretty good.

How good is this book for modeling reference? I have few of those large trump 1/35 Russian transporters and it will be nice to have a good reference material in hand.

Hi Mike,
the book gives a good overview on the systems the NVA used. Given the veil of secrecy around the system, you can´t expect detailed walkarounds. The books covers not only the launch vehicles but also the numerous support vehicles like trucks, semitrailers, tanker, cranes and trailers. Most of them are propaganda images of rockets in action. Anyway highly recommended.

Well, no postman, but I hit the jackpot on a walk near my home today! I found some asparagus fern just growing and I had to snag some! I grabbed a handful so I can dry it and use it for tree branches on my tanks.

@CKPlasticModels, Only modelers can think of stuff like this.

Wife: Honey, what’s that stuff for?

Husband: I had a wild idea the other day and this is perfect.

Wife: What’s perfect?

Husband: I will dry this up and use it on my model tank.

Like Boots said above, not from the Postman, but… yesterday after AMPS here, it was the monthly visit to Andy’s where I picked up these items

The Egyptian and Syrian Sands will come in handy on some future projects, and one can never have enough Value Gear…
