How satisfactory these the tools prove relates to the material used as Zimmerit coating. I like Molak Stucco Putty or Tamiya Basic Gray Putty thinned with Testor’s Liquid Cement. Some folks will like other mediums etc. Application was thin as paint and allowed to tack up on the surface.
Works for me, I’m happy with that result and with practice and correct tool handle would expect results to improve.
I really like the 3D printed stamps. I have teo sets of pot metal stamps which proved unsatisfactory. One set of stamps only cast with partial patterns abd the other is so flimsy the corners bent when used to stamp pattern. Zero issues with the 3D stamp. Very happy with the crisp results.
The RP feels solid, precise and well made. Comes with a spare blade and allen wrench.
Being able to lock the angles and lock the fence is a massive improvement over this old $15 knock-off chopper. It couldn’t lock angles and required taping a fence in place.
I bought a RP Toolz cutter last year. It is an amazing tool. So well made and looks great too. As an ex toolmaker I can appreciate the design and how this tool is put together. Have fun with it.
One thing to beware of is that the movable angled guides can go slightly beyond 0°, at least on my example. It looks like they milled out the slots fractionally too long.

Based on the rave reviews, this is just in from Kyle, TX! Now it’s getting re-packed here in Rifle, CO only to turn around for the big move to San Antonio, TX — talk about milage! Too bad I won’t be able to use it until September/October-ish.
I’ve wanted the BT-7 for a while but refused to pay the price that I’ve seen them for. Used my savings to add some upgrades for the Cromwell from scale hobbyist
