The postman didn’t bring it but I found this book today at a thrift store. With tax it cost .53 cents.
I’m trying to find that kit… always unavailable…where did you get it from?
I got mine from one of the many Chinese retailers on eBay.
Burbank House of Hobbies has it in stock.
Thanks for the link for Burbank House of Hobbies. Found some rare cool TriStar goodness.
Edit - today kept getting better. Long wanted 1/400 Heller Prinz Eugen kit arrived!
For my scale model Viking funeral pyre via Black Widow Models. Couldn’t pass on the Meng Leo IA3/A4 for $40.
Well, the postman didn’t bring it, but I picked up this Dremel Model 210 Drill Press today from a person that was selling it.
It’s a good kit in general but the barrel is not good. I 3D printed a replacement.
I will check it out.
I’m afraid of the shipping… sending it to Europe …Thanks !!!
At some point Andy’s European store have it., that should make things a little cheaper.
I had this title arrive today from Osprey Publishing for me to read and review for them.
Beutepanzers of World War II, Captured tanks and AFVs in German service
If book publishers just would ask German speaking readers, I would gladly help… it’s Beutepanzer not -panzers.
Let us know how this does. Enjoy!
The proper English plural is panzers with an s
(and a lower-case p
), but I agree with what you’re saying
TBH, I find the overuse of German words when discussion German AFVs to be … well, overuse anyway WhyTF do English-speakers refer to the “wanne” [sic, usually] of a German tank? It’s called the hull if you’re writing in English. This is just one example, there’s tons more. (Yes, I do find Tom Jentz books difficult to read because of this kind of thing — even though I speak German.)
Postman delivered Land, Sea & Air kits…
The RFM LEO 2A7 makes a fantastic impression!
An old classic, happy to add HMS Hood to the collection.
Plus things with wings…
Very happy to find two TriStar Pz IV suspension kits. One covers all versions the other middle and late war versions.
All of the old stash Pz IV can have a quality suspension & wheel set now.
Mine should be titled “What the postman didn’t bring today”. For whatever reason they left a delivery notice ( your parcel is awaiting pickup in town) rather than the 1.6 mm plastic tube for my M817 brakeline fittings.
The fact that I’d been parked outside the PO an hour earlier didn’t help……
So, another 25k ride into town, before I finish off the project.
That said, the M920 is progressing nicely.
On we go……
