What the postman brought today (Armorama)

In USA, known as being a PAWG.

Phat A$$ White Girl

@SSGToms Matt, A+++

Ms Ear protection is a hotter commodity than an exclusive new release RFM M10 Booker at an AMPS Convention.

Ms Pawg is hotter than Tamiya 1/48 HellCat at an IPMS Nationals.

To go with James wonderfully 3D parts. Also got the AFV tracks (not pictured) based on Rick’s input. I am surprised on how big the box is.

Something from Scotland. FoxHopp BTR-152 light guards. I hope I can install them w/o breaking.

Some 0.5mm cable and some plastic tubing to allow me to finish the trailer brake connections on my M817 dump and gen trailer combo.

I think that takes the number of manufacturers involved in this build to around 11.

Someone offered his collection of American TMs for sale recently, so here’s my second-choice selection of what he had (because somebody else beat me to all of the ones I really wanted :frowning:):

Well, I’ve been banging on about Carriers recently, so thought I’d better invest in this little gem when I stumbled across it recently on the Kingkit site:

Possibly to augment a Centurion III set in the 1950s – BAOR; we’ll see.

Then these – required for a long-planned 106mm A/T Gun-armed Austin Champ:

‘Been after these for a while.

And lastly this to enable a later Tamiya T34/85 for a planned ghastly portrayal of the 16 Jun 53 revolt in East Berlin( and elsewhere):

Those are the plans.

Execution? I, sadly, depressingly have no idea(!)

I’ve picked up these two items recently

One can always use more 1/35 Panzer crewmen…

and for some reason I suddenly picked up the WWI bug…

This came in the other day and it will help with my small IDF collection.

It’s going around. I just picked up that same kit to go with my M1917 conversion from FC. A club member had given me the cast turret version. The riveted turret will be a Marine tank in the 1920’s, along with the TSF kit both with Archer track raised decals.

My cast turret will part of the 144 tanks the US Army got. The card markings schemes are interesting. There was two tankers that were awarded the MOH in WW1.

In case any of you missed it, SWMBO brought down a cease and desist order on any new kits back in June, and she was deadly serious. So, no more boxes at my door and no more posts in this thread.
Today I pre-ordered the Magic Factory M10 Booker from Andy’s HHQ and am having it shipped to a model club buddy’s house. I’ll pick it up when I visit his house for a build day. My garage leads right into the basement, so getting it in the house should be no problem.
We’ll see if this well made plan follows through. Photos to follow. Keep your fingers crossed!

A ban, why, isnt the horse kinda out of the barn as far as the number of kits that you have amassed, kinda like when the Soviets and US reduced their nukes to where they could only destroy the earth 20 times instead of 30

Sorry for the news Matt, but you have your work arounds

Hey, 35 years, 600 kits, and all the aftermarket, I had a good run! At least I have good stuff to build, and I can acquire a new kit every once in a while.

You, my boy, are playing with lighted M-80s in your hands. Never publicize your plans on a public forum even if it is inhabited by a bunch of reprobates like us.
