What the postman brought today (Armorama)

Very rare, but very welcome:

A very reasonable price at 50 Euros (admittedly 15 on top of that for postage from Spain) but HM Customs just couldn’t let it be could they? Pinged for 16-odd quid, which I will now challenge given that they ignored their own criteria. Bastards.

This title arrived today from Osprey Publishing for me to read and review for them.

First the T-72 family, now the T-80. Another enormous box of parts from Amusing Hobby.

Just for the historical record, not a million miles away from Dragon’s artwork effort:

Had that , wonder if I built it. Will have to check on return.

I’ve got a number of their T-72s and a plain vanilla T-80; I’m loathe to get rid of them and will, hopefully, turn them into something half-decent, one day. One day(!)

Dragon’s box art was great - shame the box contents didn’t match their quality.

This pic didn’t load, it’s the AFV Club rotatrailer, and Thunder model 7.2 inch British Howitzer. I saw the AFV Club kit at the last model show I went to and was intrigued by it.

Oh, I’m not alone

Well, OK, I knew what it is, but I didn’t have anything concrete to do with it in mind when I bought it at a model show early last year — and I still have nothing planned that it could go behind.

Yeah I might put it behind my Border models Crusader . I did some reading about the trailer and besides it carrying ammo, it contains fuel storage in the wheels! I think about 200 were made ( not sure) and used by the British and Canadians.
