Wow!! Those look outstanding!
You guys are kinda making me want to do a Sheridan. I have a nostalgia for it because when I was a kid back in the 70s I made the Tamiya kit. I didn’t really know anything about the tank but loved the way it looked. I guess I still do…
Can you tell us how many $ greens you spent on that RFM Sheridan and where you bought it from? I haven’t found a seller who is offering it at a reasonable price currently due to the tariff situation..
I bought it from a Chinese seller on eBay a month ago. It was about $76 shipped, including $3 shipping and sales tax. However, when I ordered it was before all the tariffs and other stuff became effective. The same seller is charging $203 shipping now.
Thanks. Yeah, I figured… That’s what I saw on eBay also..
Guys, I uploaded reference pics of the Rota Trailer here, if you are interested:
I’ve got two models ordered in March that NOW have $203 shipping charges, but the seller didn’t ship timely so the Beijing Customs Office has them now. I’m hoping the tariffs go away soon and they ship but I’m not holding my breath. Glad you got your Sheridan!
Excellent thank you !
A supply drop via the postie
And this as it just about fits into my current build theme era and I like them anyway.
3D printed fir trees? where were they from?
Look out to see it in place, wonder what you think of it?
I am building the BT-7 right now. Fantastic kit
Did you print these yourself? I am planning a Hürtgen vignette and I am in need of some fir trees possibly
Mead93, your build directly inspired my BT-7 purchase. That’s good to know. Looked over the kit and was favorably impressed!
Withdrawal from NO NEW Chinese kits since ~March 26th. Poor Spruebrothers.com probably thinks I’m mad at them

I ran into two minor fit issues to be aware of.
- The top hull plate is rectangular over the back 3/4 or so but then tapers to a narrower rectangle at the front. When sliding the front plate in place, I found I could only slide it in so far before it started to wedge the side plates apart. This had the tendency to create a gap around the the front drivers hatches here
I was able to get a good fit but it took a bit of work. What I did was glue the drivers hatches in place as this gives the hull more rigidity and doesn’t allow that top plate to push the sides apart. I then sanded the top plate very carefully at the front taper until it fit. I got a good fit in the end
But something to be aware of.
- The turret top plate didn’t fit great towards the rear. I had to apply a lot of pressure with my hands while the glue sat. I ended up putting on a show and just holding that turret rear firmly for like 15 minutes as the glue set. Again I got a good fit in the end
But had I followed the instructions I think things would have went smoother. The instructions have you add the two turret sides and top at the same time. I glued the two turret halves together then worked on the front seam and mantlet, then did the top. I think had I put the top on while gluing the sides things would have fit with less force.
Thank you! I appreciate the heads up and that will definitely help when the BT-7 sees the work bench!
They are from RT-Diorama based in Germany
My printing skills will never be good enough to manage this.
It is only bought and if you want to build a forest it really will be very expensive.
The 200mm number 2 is 60 Euro the smaller (100mm) number 1 is about 30 Euro
