What the postman brought today (Armorama)

Those look awesome! I think I’ll only need a couple :). I’ll be doing a Vignette with an M10 in the Hurtgen

More figure paints arrived, plus two glues from AMMO (Ultra matt for canopy and PE, and medium density slow dry) and two RC markers for tools and weapons (wood base and gunmetal). All from Super-hobby, which is becoming my favorite shop in EU, shipping prices are the cheapest and fastest from what I shopped around, compatible to local shops.

Didn’t realize there was a kit of this paper beast until last week.

Happy to score it via ebay.

Very nice find there Brian. Well worth picking that up, despite good old HMRC!

Yes, the rarity value alone makes it worthwhile, though I’ve been on the lookout for ages; I just want to finish it as part of my French Collection - which isn’t vast, and true to form, mostly unbuilt!

The thing is, for 16 quid I’m not too sure I can be arsed to tackle HMRC - which is probably what they’re gambling on. Still absolute bastards though.

A parcel arrived from Ukraine.

Looks like there’s a T-80BV in my near future and a BRM-1K.

Took advantage of the Sprue Bros miniart sale and added a Stuart. Absolutely love light tanks

Probably going to do the box scheme. With all the big hatches I may add an interior one eventually too

Takes a lot to steal the thunder :cloud_with_lightning_and_rain: of a Amusing Hobby Neubaufahrzeug In Wade’s World but RFM’s newest M551 Sheridan Vietnam-era did the trick.

Very happy to score this thing finally. Three prior attempts showed in stock and ended as refunds!

These arrived to pair up with the Soviet ball tank posted several posts above.

Just arrived, As expected the instructions are wrong, but the seller says the newer boxings will be corrected. Still good service. Wayne

Yesterday evening, my order of a different set of tracks for Cuckoo as well as two gun barrels for other models arrived. The book I purchased elsewhere to complete the set — it’s from a series of books with wartime photos from my area, taken by German soldiers. The other day I was looking online for a copy, and found that a second-hand shop at a farm I pass every so often had it. As I noticed the shop was open when I passed there yesterday, I went in and bought it.

Wade they also made one with the turret more forward called VK45.02(P)V kit #6613 by Cyber hobby.
Has DS track, etch grills and is a nice kit.

Enjoy building the one you got.

Thank you, Randy. I’m slow at getting up speed on the various Cyber-Hobby kits. There’s been so many new releases, re-issues and fresh aftermarket parts offered, a Golden Hobby Era!

Brian (and other victims of the Revenuers), beat this;

$80 US per kit

$50 US shipping via UPS

$140 US brokerage and taxes. ( just to get them through the Canadian border……)

Wow; that is punishing for sure.

I didn’t escape several years back when I ordered 3 x MBT 70s from Commander Models. I got hit with a 50 quid bill (that is 50 pounds sterling) courtesy of (then) Her Majesty’s Customs - robbing swine that they are.

Truly, sometimes we suffer for our art.

arrived directly from France by a friend returning from a trip. It is impossible to find it in Canada and on Ebay the shipping costs are too expensive. The casting seems much better than that of the VAB
