I used the Jerrycans and the Ammo boxes for stowage on my latest finished kit, quality of the 3D printed is very, very good, easy to clean up, Prime & Paint. Zero Issues !
Thanks Hermann, I’ve got you down as a suitable source(!) - just might be a bit of a delay at the moment. before I tackle such a large project - to me that is - so I might cut my helicopter teeth on something smaller - such as this one:
No problem Brian. From what I saw, the kit needs some extra care and I have to do my homework first. What do you think of the Super Frelon kit? It´s huge, isn´t it?
It is; it will be the largest model I will build - unless I tackle my Panzershop Scrooge. I came across it by accident and got it for a good price; I was unaware at the time that is apparently quite rare.
To be honest, the box art caught me - I always liked Heller’s sparse artwork - I envisage it being somewhere like Djibouti, and would hope to replicate the box art with troops embarking, perhaps after an exercise, yet with a jeep and say, a couple of Legionnaires observing. But a massive kit, which will need a careful approach and sequencing, and also, worryingly, a large base!
That’s the ultimate plan; fruition? I have no idea!
Note: The upper holders are not actually compatible with GREX TG Airbrushes (trigger-style). However, you can make them work by spreading the hooks (see below). This makes for a very sturdy set-up. HTH.
Got these over the past week. Building up the stash for when the weather breaks into good outdoor painting and a new mask to try and stop some paint coloring my lungs even more.
Thank you, I thought the included tracks looked a bit thick or something I was able to find those on ebay through one of my fav sellers who carry’s tons of resin kits and various conversion sets plus a lot of other stuff.
