What the postman brought today (Armorama)

@justsendit - nice set of jerry cans! I need to find that one!

@Mead93 - nice score on the flak half track! It’s surely much nicer detailed than the old Tamiya kit.

Ezra @Panzer_modeler who makes the drums and crates? Where did you source them from? I’ll need these accessories soon. :slightly_smiling_face:

Cajun :crocodile:

That’s a good way to describe it! I also think it bears an eerie resemblance to the gas vans

“Teutonic Technicals”
Sounds like a good name for a Group Build…

I did think of a half track group build the other day, but a technicals build would be sweet too!

I got them from @Chris_Bryan aka Danger Close Dioramics.
They are really nice apart from a few very small holes to fill, it would take a grand total of maybe 3 min to fiix. I would totally recommend them.
Try Dm’ing him for more info.

Given the number of different platforms the Germans fitted with an (often improvised) mount for a weapon it was never meant to carry I think a GB could be viable. I notice some of the smaller scale “Paper Panzers” are coming up with some really fanciful combinations of hull and weapon system, so making room for “might have been” builds would give a good excuse for people to go wild with those items in the stash they know they’ll never build and have some fun. It helps that even in reality some of the platforms given the more outrageous modifications were “Beute” items the net could spread pretty wide…

Cheers,

M

Despite the “vow” to “stop” purchasing kits…I found the Sprue Brother’s half off Takom Panther A (early/mid) with Interior irresistible at $35.99 it was like a Das Werks price

That’s a dirty lie. Who vowed?!

@SSGToms Matt,

…but there’s a bright side to my vow…if it’s a German AFV…“fair & balanced purchases of Allied AFV’s must be made to offset the high Axis to Allied ratio” in my stash…

It’s a repercussions clause. Thankfully The Tank Museum helped me out by supplying several important missing Allied subjects

…back to Post raisin Bran & amen noodle recipes for this week…wink
