It looks very good, John! The cockpit glazing is the pain of some many kits. Often there are fit issues and that is so difficult to fix on clear parts.
The end result looks like it is ready to go knock out some Iraqi tanks or AD installations
It looks really good. The washes have really worked well on it. I often end up with dull looking finishes when I ever I do these all over grey schemes, so I definitely think this is a technique to use to bring them to life more.
Looks great indeed, John! The paint job went very well in the end.
BTW, when I encounter those gaps of canopies I usually fill them with Micro Kristal Klear and when dry, overpaint them. This helps a lot IMHO.

Thanks Peter, and that sounds like an excellent plan about the canopy gaps. A few people have talked about this micro clear so I may have to invest in some now
If it’s only for gap-filling, I think you can just use white glue. Kristal Klear is clear when dried, so you can use it for lenses or small windows.
