Wow! That precision gear fit is mind-boggling! A SBS would be most welcome here. TIA.

Taking photos as we speak, gents…

“Pick up that gun trail and move out… Forward… March!”
“But, sir…”
“Shhhhh, he doesn’t know the gun’s not here… snicker.”
The Squad’s beginning to take-on a little personality with the Hornet Heads dry-fitted in place. I only broke one drill bit, so GI No. 2 has some shrapnel left in his chest.
… it happens.
Some of the DML hands actually look pretty good. However, I’ll be visiting the Hornet Hand stash to see what can be improved upon. Before making that call, I’ll need to roll the AT Gun back into position.
“Yous’ maggots is gonna’ pull some serious KP duty if he doesn’t!”

At ease…
Those look great already Mike. Can’t wait to see them painted up.
This is looking really nice. What ideas have you got for the setting?
G.
Thank’s guys, glad you like it so far!
Aiming to replicate the groundwork and subject poses as close as I can to the original B&W photo.
Here’s the Squad moving the AT Gun into position.
Happy figuring!

These figures really look outstanding Mike. Your modifications are very impressive.
That’s going to be really something when it’s finished. More progress please!
G.
Really appreciate the kind words fellow figurers!
Enough about me, let’s see some progress from the other enlistees. Can’t wait for all the cool themes to appear.

Happy figuring!

Yep, need to see everybody’s work now. Doesn’t matter what stage you’re at. Let’s see your progress!
G.
Same spot, been catching up on other campaign builds that where lagging behind. ![]()
You ain’t getting off that easy, soldier. I saw you over at the PX loading up on model kits! ![]()
Busted!

I was under orders to the PX and it was one isle over.
Ok here’s where I’m at. Only 5 parts to this figure. The knife, the right arm, the head , torso and the weapon.
Coming along very nicely. The figures look sharp. Anxious to see them painted.

I got a bit of assembly done on the first figure. I was happy till I checked the pics lol still some seam lines to clean up and a little filling.
Need to figure out if I need to fix the gun before the left arm or if I can fix the arm now and add the gun later.
Tom
That looks pretty detailed, Tom. Looking at the boxart, they might be a fit for an idea I’m toying with. Would you recommend this set?
G.
I would, I think they are pretty well detailed and things like the bottom part of the tunic being seperate makes for nice edge detail. The usual plastic figure issues are there like seam lines over boot laces and around the edge of hands and the detail is a little soft in some locations but tbh I’m very impressed.
Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about… progress!
