Your Figure Just Keeps Improving! 2024

Great! Let’s kick this off in 1/48 scale with the RAF officer. Some white and then black enamel primer before base Vallejo acrylic colors. Lots to do and this will go slowly.

Think my figures are done, still not sure if they are improving much…

Thanks for this years edition of this campaign, and if there is one in 2025 I will join again :+1:

So I didn’t bookmark this page and kind of forgot about it, resulting in me never taking a starting pic of the figures I built back in August and just started painting yesterday. Twenty-three of them.

That was dumb. Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve built something that fit a campaign without posting to the campaign.

Starting now. Wow, I didn’t know that the campaign started in August 2024! I thought it started in the New Year. (Anyway, I wasn’t ready in August 2024).

Hasegawa 1/12 “Solider” with 1/12 custom Live-Resin gear and carbine. This is what I ordered my custom 1/12 Live-Resin parts for…amongst other 1/12 figures that I have.

My idea is to equip her, Lara Croft’s cousin, correctly with ammo, gear, and a M4/M203 carbine for whatever “Lara Croft’s cousin” adventures. Whereas Lara Croft is a handgun adventurer, her cousin packs some serious heat! This allows Lara Croft’s cousin to go on some more daring and dangerous adventures than Lara.

I don’t know about your entry. I see easily how her armament can be improved, but I find it difficult to see how her figure could be improved

Can’t wait to see how you (I’m finding it hard to finish this sentence straight) … your result turns out.

I have a couple of figures arriving in a few days I intend to use. Will post when they arrive. They aren’t as nice as this one, I guarantee.

“Too light to fight to too heavy to fight?” Hmmm…it must be the logistics weighing her down.

I guess we’re all mesmerized by Lara Croft. Yes, Lara stole the show and the spotlight repeatedly. Poor cousin :upside_down_face:! But then again, if Lara’s cousin did her mission right, you’re not supposed to know, correct?

I will join with two 1/48 pilots from Tamiya.

Simple and easy construction. Now the pilots are chilling waiting for a base coat

I ordered some figs from Alpine that I intend to do. They’ve been waiting to be picked up by our postal service for some time now.
