Prints from tonight - I wiped some parts with a paper napkin, and you can see some paper fibers… Oops.
Need some more TLC clean-up

Need to be very careful in putting these together… Had to increase the hole size with a pin vice.

Leopard 1 mantlet plug CADed in 1/35 and uploaded to my cults3D site. Something simple and missing from Leopard 1 kits. Could potentially be used on Leopard 2’s b/c may not be too noticeably different in 1/35 (these things are tiny at 2 mm in diameter).

Leopard 2A5/6 antenna base in 1/35 CADded. To me, Tamiya, Revell, HB, and Border kit parts do not look correct (RFM was close I think) so decide to make my own:

Thanks

I think you’re thinking of me for the M68. If so, I plan on getting back to it soon.

Ha! OK, MikeyBugs is working on it. I guess I’ll make one for my own use.

Ok, thanks for straightning that out for me. Lol

James, I see that some Shermans used armor panels cut from knocked out German tanks that were welded to their hulls. Have you thought about making an add on set for allied tanks?

Hi Greg,
Never thought about it b/c my main interest is modern armor. I guess I could do them.

OK, started on the M4A3 Sherman add-on armors project:

Doing curves suck…
I based the measurements on Asuka “Jumbo” kit 5700 and Dragon Thunderbolt VII kit 6183 but realized Dragon kit’s frontal plate was shorter by about 1.5mm or so. The hull length was the same. Decided to go with the Asuka kit’s measurements.

Hopefully, these armor plates won’t take too long with their regular shapes. Frontal armor plates:
