Another close image of the R35.
Thats not the casting symbols that I’m speaking of.
I will do so.
Do you want it here or a PM?
Thanks Dan
Upper right fret.
Renault Plaque
Same as the UE carrier:
A snip from one of my pics - the UE at the Australian Armour and Artillery Museum.
In 1/35th only the ‘Renault’ would be readable. In 1/35th scale the plague is roughly 5mm wide by 3mm high.
Another UE part that no-one seems to have done - the open rear light housing:
Thanks Peter for the photos.
That plaque does not look easy to replicate. The open rear light housing does not seem simple to CAD either…
Kind regards,
James
Hi everyone,
OK, so in response to frequent requests, I’ve made a FB page, which will be used to post my list of available items and prices: P2G3D Corner on FB
There’s nothing really there right now. Will update soon.
Kind regards,
James
Prints from tonight.
Trailer wheels printed well for @18bravo. My first set of tires 3D printed in 1/35!
There’s a lot of dust in the photo booth, and they showed up in the photos. ![]()
WWII “USMC” fuel cans in 1/35
For @john_harachis
Stowage accessories:
Dunno much about the Milk jugs, but the pelican case and coolers are a must add to anything Gulf War or OIF/OEF related. ![]()
Hey, those stowage items look really cool! ![]()
There is really no need to replace but to simply thin the Tamiya part from the backside.
Brother James, since you can do wheels/tires I need to talk to you about these…
215/75D14 wheels and tires that you typically see on a small trailer or boat trailer.

Hi Mike,
I can certainly do those wheels. In fact, the tread pattern looks almost exactly like the one I just did:
Let me know what scale, and what the outer diameter, inner diameter, and width dimensions would be in that scale. We can go from there, and I’ll give you pricing. I am a bit backed up until late this month however.
Kind regards,
James
Yeah, I notice the tread pattern will work. I will have to figure out what the 215/75D14 is in 1/6 and 1/35 scale and get back to you. And no hurry here we’ll work out a time when it’s ok for you.
I would also kill for some casting numbers !
We don’t have to go that far as we have a talented designer right here.
I saw your M48A3 headlights on FB and those would look great on the Tamiya model. Sadly, I got sent to the corner by the Facebook Thought Police.
That old kit needs a serious facelift.
Nice. I’m at your service, Reynier. You can add that to your existing order.
All the other M48/60-related enhancements are posted here: Anyone wants to guess what I am working on? Too obvious for Patton fans? - #76 by James_Lee for your reference.
Kind regards,
James
