Yes, it’s an AN/PRC-77. That’s Kahalani’s, the battalion commander’s tank. The radio is there for maintaining radiocontact in case he needs to dismount the tank for whatever reason.

Piotr. The AFV Club fume extractor fit is a well published issue. A solution that was suggested on PMMS is to cut the barrel either at the end:

You will need to add a segment of styrene between the halves to repair the material that was removed. Mark the barrel with a felt tip pen down the length before you cut it. That way , you can match the line either side of the extractor to make sure you line up the cut in case it is not perfect.
Other people have cut the bottom of the extractor so they can prise it apart to slip the barrel in, or drilled out the hole in the extractor then used putty to repair the cut/widened hole.

Just been getting all the fiddly bits ready for the turret and doing the wheels… Don’t ask me how I forgot about those lol.
Also put the barrel together, fitted the coax barrel, and did the PE on the rear basket.
What would the search light interior colour be … silver like ours ?
Also the Jerry cans on rear basket … are they black ?
Nikos @gtdeath13 you showed the image of the remote firing mech on the .50, did the cables go down through the Comd hatch ? And do you know what that end of the cables looked like or what fittings they had ? I’m going to try and scratch one tomorrow night after I assembly both track runs.

The mg cables had either grips for pulling them, usually triangular or bare ends. They just go down the hatch, not too far down, so that the commander can pull them from safety.

When I built my Danish Centurion I simply used a round file to enlarge the inner side of the bore evacuator. This was on the L7 gun though. Might be different with the 20 pdr one.
