Centurions: Fist of the Empire

Well Nikos… Thanks, you I have now taken 5 years off my eyesight lol :grin:

This is where I am with the .50 remote firing mech…

Parts G 21, 22, 23 and 24. Looking for some rod and will make the triangular pull handle later…

Thanks for showing that shot from the instructions… That made is so much easier :+1::+1:

To anyone in the know … what colours would the MG ammo tins be Olive drab/green or a brown shade ? I’m doing all the MG mounts the wagon colour. Cheers :+1:

Really for Nikos or Israel, but anyone who has the answer… The colour of the actual mechanism for the remote, do you think it would of been vehicle colour or another, I’m also thinking it would needed to be kept at least lightly oiled as well … Cheers guys

I don’t know about the Sho’t, but on my Merk 2 it was the same color as the tank.

My progress is slow as I have to check references for every detail.

Added the tracks and fenders. Also changed the engine deck hinges.

But it’s good progress … And I’m sure you’d be further along if I didn’t ask so many questions … So you’re probably researching for me as well :+1:

That’s why I don’t ask too many of them :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I potatoed with the armor plate with the driver’s hatch and had to reposition it. It was relatively easy but I had to check back all 7 previous centurion builds to make sure I had not potatoed in these.

Nice fixes Nikos.

I put the indi links together…

It’s says you need 102 per side, there is luckily ample for that with some spares as well. The links on their own are ones that the teeny weeny location studs snapped off on one end or the other. I may use them as spares secured to one of the bins like I saw in a pic that was posted … will wait out on that one.

They links went together really well, just a double click for each one and hey presto. They needed minimal to no clean up… I decided to do them in runs of 9 or 10 to make it a bit easier …look nice to me :+1:

Will certainly look better than rubber ones … :+1:

@Canmedic @Chris_Bryan
I have never participated in a group build and I have just ticked Going.
Do I have to do anything else or just start building/posting please?
