Exactly, although some call it by another name:
It does show up well on your workbench thread, so no worries.
According to this, more of a USMC pattern, but there were Army units that did away woth the sand altogether.
The Tropic verdant scheme is one of the lesser known variants of the MERDC four-color pattern, but I believe it was used by USMC units stationed on Okinawa during the late 1970s/early 1980s?
Tamiya offered representations of this option in their LVTP7 A1 kit and their M151A2 kit, with small B&W photos on the instruction sheet of the latter that seemed to illustrate the variant. That would probably be logical as the Marine units on Okinawa would have been their nearest reference source, but I’m …
Edit:
It actually shows up quite well in your photos above as well.

Can’t replace the tubes… as the engineroom is empty…
I made something to block the view inside from the rear..
And added some more tubes…
And used some old leftover bits of PE..

Excellent work Bert.
My progress on the Radschlepper Ost has been brisk. I am planning to go overseas again soon, so I have been putting time in on my builds. That said, I had forgotten to take WIP pics of this amongst the other builds I photographed. Here is where I am at currently though:
Flat coat,to be added, a few bits to attach like the strap on the jerry can (that is from the spares box, Riich just give you the basket to hold them) and the tarp, etc to go.
I replaced the vanes on the short shot grill, but it was a poor job. You’ll see it in my next pics.

If it’s a short shot, I always order a new part from the manufacturer. Life’s too short to start with defective parts.

Masked the windows and finished and closed the cabin..
Added the locks..
The Faun is practically ready for primer..
Now have to decide which wheels to use.. 3d printed set or the original (which look much better)…

Some great work going on guys! Bert, I agree on those wheels - not sure that they are any beter than what’s in the kit.
And Denimo, that’s fantastic! Wish I was brave enough to park my builds on a mirror to reveal the underside - that’s the bit I try to hide!
