When they fit correctly .. ![]()
Like this one !
that’s good, so the pieces are pretty well cut and fit? whenever I build tanks or cars I always get a giant panel line somewhere impossible.. probably user error
So far it’s looking good.
But I’m still on the first page of the instructions sheet… ![]()
yeah trumpeter is really hit or miss in my opinion, sometimes you get a great high quality kit and other times the pieces look like they were hand cut with a plastic knife.
Started this one yesterday afternoon, forgot to enlist it right away…
And due to the smaller scale this one goes together quite fast… so this is where I ended yesterday evening…
Great job Bert !
looking good!
Decided to replace the mudguards with foil ..

And got the rest done today…

Will probably be adding some wire and hydraulics once I get home…
Offcourse not everything glued for easy painting..

Nice and fast little inbetween thing…
Rainy day, so got a good bit done again…
Up to this point it’s exactly the same as the previous truck…
It’s only from here on things are different..
dang! you’re really grinding it out, nice work on both of them!
Great work Bert… that was really fast…wow
Thanks!!
Might as well do a few more…
There is enough in this box to make the radar/guiding truck and 2 missile trucks.
Or you can choose to make 3 standard trucks.
So I’ve downloaded the instructions for this one from Scalemates:

So I will be making 3 versions.
The snag is the instructions are all Japanese so I am using Google translater to not make mistakes in the versions.
This is where I am now:
The wheels are a bit of work… hollow on the backside which isn’t looking great…
But because of the extra sprues I will cut wheels in half to make full wheels, first attempt gave a wheel to thick, second was better..
wrong group build lol meant to post in best tank that never was pt. 4 ![]()
I will continue with my original selection for this gb
I’d like to build an M548 fueler ‘track in this campaign, but I think I read upthread that it’s for wheeled vehicles only.
is this correct?
