Fire for Effect!

If you decide to go Burma Theater, liek @petbat said, then you can get the T62 metal chevron tracks.

T-62 metal tracks - Panda Plastics (shermantracks.com)

@petbat @SableLiger Of course would the suspension get adapted to the early style. As would the mudguards, the .50 rings, the additional armour around the compartment andā€¦andā€¦andā€¦ It would all get bachdated.

OK, if the dust has settled, I think Iā€™d like to try this:

Donā€™t think Iā€™ve done any artillery in over 50 years. Could be interesting.

Mark, Very cool choice! Looking forward to see that kit. It is one of the newer revell kits, right? Not a reboxing of something else.

Youā€™ll need an assload of roundhead rivets as well.

I ainā€™t countinā€™!

No need to count, but theyā€™re very visible on those riveted hull versions.

I know. I have a strip of Voyager p.e.-rivets ready.

Donā€™t know for sure, but ScaleMates claims that itā€™s a new tool from 2020.

Got this today ā€¦

For some odd reason I missed this campaign. Iā€™ve just joined but havenā€™t made my decision about my entry: a Russian Nona-SVK or an Israeli Doher.

Would this 1DS LeFH1BB2 qualify? I bought it several months ago thinking it was French, it does say so right on the box top. Once I had it in hand and the broken parts were replaced by the seller, I looked it up online and found that it was German built on a captured French chassis. It is certainly cool & if allowed I will build it for this campaign.

Paul

I donā€™t organise the campaign, but considering the fact that it is a howitzer on a tank chassis, I recon it does qualify.

As Erwin says, it should fit in nicely. It is a LeFh18 light howitzer on a tank chassis. 16 were made and all were intended to be used in the artillery support role (when they had not broken down!). When the Wespe started to be received, these were relegated to training vehicles.

Yes.
