Would a JLTV fit that description? Even though it’s classified as “Light” it’s bigger than a HMMWV. I would join with the RFM JLTV.
Thank you for the campaign, was nice to be back participating on the new forum
Why not! I would love to see it built.
I think the next one should be open to a wider variation. Say, even the Oshkosh HEMTT. Whilst that has a ‘Heavy’ designation, the vehicle itself has a lot of different body styles that makes it more utilitarian than a lot of other vehicles.
It was great to see you join in. Hopefully we will be seeing more from you going forward.
That’d get me involved! I doubt you can get more medium utilitarian than the classic “Beep”…
I’d be down with an AFV Club M35A2 “Deuce”, like the one I drove for years in the Army.
I have a Steyr 1500. Would a Krupp Protze be suitable as well?
Protze? Absolutely. Lots of variations to the basic vehicle to choose from.
AFV Club M35A2 “Deuce” also fits the bill.
Maybe I better start a separate thread for gathering interest!
I actually bought the Bronco with the 3.7ch Pak 36 to replace the Tamiya I built long ago so this will net me two pieces in one as I don’t have a 3.7cm built yet.
Does the Kinetic MRAP fit the medium type?
Having one coming in next week.
Yes. There is a recovery version and an ambulance on the MaxxPro chassis, so it is definitely a multi purpose vehicle. It was military first, then used outside the military, as is the case in the kit you posted, which is all fine for the build.
I’ve set up a thread:
ooh, i have a Jackal 2 waiting in the depths of my stash if that fits
Yes Colin, that would fit fine. As I said, I’m going to be pretty open on that build and the Jackal is the basis for the Coyote which has multi-purposes. Would be great to see you on board.
I think I read somewhere that what Horror Boss calls the Jackal 2 is actually the Jackal 1?
I would be in for a build that would include these very useful vehicles.
Paul
The Tough MUVver build is in the staging area Paul. A Dodge WC is very welcome.
Good to know. Ill check my references and some of my mates to see if they travelled in one.
Ill check scalemates as well to see if they have the instructions and what the differences are. From the box art all HB have changed is the armament
I found the thread where John Tapsell detailed the differences:
No, I don`t finish my model…
Sorry for that
Thanks for that Pete, the reference shots are great. I’m also looking at Corne Scheepers on YouTube, he’s got quite a few videos on enhancing the Jackal 1
