IDF 75 Campaign

Now we know how youget all these amazing references … Great collection

Well, the IDF is pretty active on social media and there are lots of accounts of various sectors that post photos.

Foe example, today the Combat Engineers posted some really nice photos of Namers and D9Rs in training of their FB and IG accounts

Here you can download all of the magazines published by the Yad La Shiryon (Lantrun Museum). There are some great photos even if you donot know the language.

Thats pretty interesting. We are the polar opposite when it comes to social media. We are steered well away from it officially in the military.

Thats a pretty cool link Nikos. I just picked one edition at random. Loads of different images of all sorts of kit :+1:

Official accounts with content control can be pretty useful for projecting the work the armed forces do. Random military people posting stupid tiktok videos is another thing.

To bad those magazines aren’t in English, they could sell lots of them… and we could read them… sure look very interesting.

Thanks for sharing!

@gtdeath13 Nikos, any pictures of the 1980ties Zelda Command variant? I only managed to find one picture online.

The last photo is contemporary, but the vehicle is essentially the same:

Zelda Pikud (all command variants of vehicles are called Pikud I think)

Or are you maybe interested in vehicles with the TOGA armour added?

Excellent! Thanks a lot guys! Very good reference pictures. Especially for the antennas and how they look stored vs. untied.

@SableLiger, you are also building the Academy kit for this campaign?

Yup! I have a couple Zeldas on the bench. Just waiting for paint. Both are Academy. One is the Pikud, the other one is a standard Nag’mash that I kitbashed using spares out of my box.

Most of the work on the hull is done, now there is some detailing left and I need to make my mind up if I will fill the sides of the hull to eliminate the details or leave it as is.

The Friul tracks are a bit on the wide side and fit very snuggly on the HobbyBoss kit.

Some photos showing flat hull sides

I also started doing some work on the turret
