Korea: 1950-1953

It turns out that I myself was deceived and misled you. As it turns out, this photo is not from the Korean War. It is “American soldiers inspect a 12.2 cm schwere Feldhaubitze 36(r) - Soviet M-30 abandoned by the Germans in the Bensheim area”.
It turns out that there are no photographs of this gun from this war? Can anyone share photos or links to them?

They were definitely used in the war. There is one in the War Memorial of Korea. Here is a link to photos :

Is it too late to make my korean war sherman in 1/16. It will also be in the shermania 2025 as well.

It is Michael’s call on this Jack but, as a general rule for Campaign group builds, you can only build a model for one campaign, not build it across multiple campaigns.

I agree. Usually when combining campaigns it would different parts, like the tank commander could be used in the figure campaign and the tank in the Sherman campaign.

Quite correct, one campaign per model. Sorry, Jack, but that’s a site-wide rule. I’d still love to see you build it for one of them, though!

I have finished assembling the gun.

The subassemblies are not glued, I will glue the tool after priming. I really don’t like rubber wheels on models, so I didn’t even unpack the bag with them. I replaced them all with resin products.
I enjoyed the assembly, the only problem was gluing the thin parts of the gun shield.

I’ve recently gotten into the habit of doing preshading with Mr. Hobby primers.

I really like their black and brown primers. White and gray less so. Either I have defective jars or I’m doing something wrong. But the dark primers go on perfectly, as if it wasn’t me, but a real master doing it. But with light primers - you can immediately see my crooked hands.

Would it still work if you sprayed black primer overall and then used white paint instead of white primer?

Of course there will be! But only for normal people. I have even more problems with white paint than with white primer. I don’t know why. Green, blue, red and all the rest - everything is fine. With white - everything is bad.

I find white paints of any variety (paint or primer) are a true pain in the butt. I think it’s something to do with the pigments that makes them less easy to spray or brush.

You’ve calmed me down! I was already starting to develop an inferiority complex because of the white paint.

finished my FW 190 and now ready to start my build for this campaign. just can’t decide which kit to build.

can’t find decals i like for either. i usually build planes of aces, shot down or if the plane has some tie to history. cool camouflage schemes or nose art will qualify too. leaning slightly to the mig today, tomorrow it may be the saber. problem with the saber is it is the f model with the wing fence. i do have a printscale sheet with jolly roger markings but that looks to be the e model with slatted wings.
