Not all battalions have been completely converted to IFV Puma.
actually there are relatively few really active Puma in five different Panzergrenadier battailons in service; They are plagued with different problems which led to the rejection of battle readiness. The first vehicles which will get improved with the turret mounted MELLS anti tank rocket system will belong to the Pz.Gren.Bat. 112 in Regen which is part of NATO´s VJTF (Very fast joint reaction task force).
