I don’t know, the theory in the video could be correct or sometime ammo does go bang when it shouldn’t it. I recall US mk.19 going off in the chamber in the 90’s. We were not desperate that I recall. I had a round cook off in my 240 from heat. Things happen.

Several years ago there was a video of an insurgent in Iraq firing a mortar several times, until the last round detonated in the barrel. All I can say is, it was no accident.

I remember seeing some gun camera footage from an AC-130 once. This guy was running like he was on the Afghan olympic track and field team. He was dodging rounds left and right until…

That’s fine as it fits your narrative. Personally I don’t know if the ammo is new, old, UA, RU, NK etc. That could have been intentional or unintentional. It would all fit whatever you wanted it to be. Given the misinformation campaign during this war. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was not as we might think.
