I sure would like to have one of those Tigers to build an off road camper out of! I expect some of this stuff to end up on Ebay!

And some silver paint, you always need a bit of that
I just remember him from the Oceans films and as the used car salesman in Transformers. One of my favourites is âIt ainât half hot mumâ with Windsor Davies. You couldnât make anything like that now though and when it is shown it has a warning attached.

Haha yeah, just so it ends up on the knees and elbows of your combats and the toecaps of your boots!!
oh my god the millenials would have a bed wetting spaz attack if that was shown on the BBC again, itâs right up there with âLove thy neighbourâ
âyouâre all a shower of bleedinâ p***sâ
I agree, but itâs not violent or gory just good old fashioned humour with the emphasis mainly on âold fashionedâ. It ran from 1974 to 1981.
Yes, those were the days when you could laugh at the over the top absurdity and where the point was taking the mickey out of bigotry, sexism, etc. Shows like âMind your languageâ, âTil death do us partâ, Benny Hill, etc. Same with US shows like âAll in the Familyâ and even âF-Troopâ with how Native Americans were depicted.
Even in Australia we had shows like âKingswood Countryâ, which would not be acceptable now.
Just, imagine if âBlazing Saddlesâ was made nowâŚ
Trumpeter Modern US Supply Team figures can be a start for Ukrainian female soldiers.
https://www.dersockelshop.de/trumpeter-tru0429Not a terrible set, but the femaleâs arm does not cradle the helmet as in the box art. Not even close. The arm was at an odd angle and I remember correctly it was too short. At least the head was usable, i.e. not horrible.
Thanks guys. Thats one I think I even have in the stash somewhere.
For destroyed vehicles:
One you donât see often, just nice even coat of soot on the gun.
Looks like somebody took the time to paint it flat blackâŚ
Top of the turret is missing.
Klaus;
I watched a CNN video awhile ago, and found it troubling. Directing arty into civilian strong holds does not bother me if the Ukrainian military is hidden in there (strong part of the old Soviet doctrine), but I honestly doubt there are many in there as they already know what Russia will do. On the otherside the civilians need a way outta there while coming thru in one piece.
Then they played excerpts from a conversation between the forward Russian operatives and their commanders. They said they were look for a line of retreat (yes everybody will retreat sooner than later). CNN sorta mocked them for this, and I simply thought what a bunch of dumb sh85ts! Better to live another day to fight on than be a piece of dead meat leaving the grinder! On the opposite side of this event, their commander should already have that plotted and how heâs gonna get them outta the grinder. (Iâm handing him a demerit card). I always planed on getting my beat up ass outta the grinder, and I was just a 21 year old kid. Perhaps a firing squad is need for some folks that are sitting back in the rear and sleeping on warm dry mattresses.
A well equipped infantry unit marches on their feet. Folks that ride on top die on top. And arty unit that canât hit what the infantry desires will soon be left alone to die. Each group compliments the other, and and each group lives and dies at the hands of the other. Now weâve all heard tales of Russians getting frostbite and being wet to the bone. Somebody must be shot over this if your in Moscow!! The opposite of this is those Ukrainians giving 120% of their all. They were smart enough to get them dry boots and clothing when possible. Still they could do even better, but also think they know this (kinda surprising that the Russians donât)
Half of fighting a war is your mental attitude, and the Ukrainians are a light year ahead of the other guys here. They have little fear of their counter parts and it shows up big time. If you go into a battle (OP or whatever you call it) in fear; yourâre in trouble. Tanks have proven to just be a menace, and not a lot more in value. The lowly APC is still getting the job done as it has for the last sixty years. Arty is still the queen of the battle field, and one side hasnât figured out how to make it work for them. While the otherside doesnât seem to have enough. The Russian air power has turned into something lackluster, and once again firing squads are probably in order here. Yet the really serious down side is the lack of battle field communications. Just barely above a 2 on a scale of 1:10.
When this is over and done with the Russians have to fear that the Ukrainians donât do a road march to Moscow, but theyâll never get across the border because by then firing squads will become a routine event

steel burn outs always look a rusty red color, while aluminium will have a lot of white in it (or maybe ivory). Thereâll still be a little black with aluminium, but a fraction of what we see in the photo.

Djiti Productions, Black Dog have quiet a few females from different countries but with some easy modifications can be turned into Ukraine MilitaryâŚ

yup. all ya gotta do is look up insurgent or ukrainian soldier model (in that wording) and you get perfect options. even using russian troops can work if you really try, and even then it just needs some tweaking.
Cheers!

Might have to a add an Italian LinceâŚ(Russian Version - âRysâ) to a convoy ambush. Except the Russian version has a few mods that you cant get in the Italeri kit. Any aftermarket ideas? Probably too early I guess.

hereâs some stuff for a dio idea i was thinking-

and then youâre on your own, because I donât have the time or patience to search for anything else, i just thought iâd bring up those 2 beauties i found.
Cheers!

Iâve got a base built with a t-72 and quite a bit of rubble, but Iâm out camping for spring break.
Russia/USSR/Russia has never been worried about the welfare of their troops.
Peasants and serfs/bondslaves have always been in ample supply.
During WW II the troops knew that the NKVD âhad their backsâ (in their sights) so
it was forwards and possible death or backwards and certain death
