Used to work at the LHS as a teenager in the 70s. Sold a ton of RC cars but never caught the bug myself. Nevertheless every dollar I made went right back into the shop for plastic kits.

Yeah, I think Tamiya are making a huge amount from nostalgic purchases or RC cars we had, or wanted but couldn’t afford back in the day. Either as a gift for ourselves or to build with the disinterested next generation in the hope of hooking some more mugs!

Reviving this thread. Must have been a good boy this year.
Really excited for the flakpanzer, gave up hope of finding one when tristar went upside down
