Johnny: what is your source for the “hose” connecting the generator to the lifting arm? I will be in need of something similar as a fueling hose for a diorama idea I have.

Thanks Zon … The hose was from the Tamiya 88mm set … there was loads in the kit and I only used some on one reel. Other 88mm sets may also have it. Accurate Armour also do various sets of hose’s in different sizes for fuel lines etc.
Also, small electrical core cables (domestic electrical appliance leads - the live/neutral and earth inside the cables) may be of use,if you remove the inner copper wiring ?

Just so you get an idea how slack these tracks are when fitted…
At least I won’t need to worrying about snapping them 
And I will easily get a realistic looking sag to the upper run …

I want to join the Sci-Fi and Alternative history campaign with this What-if T-90.
After the fall of the Soviet Union we now have better information of what soviet tanks look like. At the time that the Kirin and Terre sets were produced, there was limited information and photos to produced accurate kits. Now that the Meng and Trumpeter kits and the Miniarm aftermarket sets are out, the shortcomings of the Terre Models conversion set stick out like a sore thumb. Some of this inaccuracies of the Terre set are the ERA blocks, vision systems, and anti-radiation cladding. So, I have the option to build it at is or relegate it to the back of future projects.
So, this kit will be built as what may have happened if an unspecified Asian country would have attempted to produce a copy of a T-90. In this alternate universe, this country would not have been able to include the Shtora system, a wind sensor, an updated vision system, or the soviet ERA blocks.In the years before and after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, there was limited information and photos to produce accurate kits. So, currently this is the state of play with the Rheintochter and it’s resupply wagon …
The vehicles are pretty much done now, just a few detail bits to paint and sort out. The effort will now be knocking up a quick base groundwork area using the photo frame they are on now… The Panther will be on some raised ground to assist with the reload procedure…

Those look great John, very realistically achieved paint finish.
Now, probably a silly question, but would the Hot Shots Gnat qualify for the campaign?
I’m still planning on building the Kazon Raider, but I spotted this one in the pile earlier and thought it might make a fun side project.

It’s a tricky one to place. Just a thought when I spotted it earlier.
A movie star build might be an interesting campaign. Special Hobby did the Battle of Britain Buchon and of course both Airfix and Revell have done Top Gun.
