Safe travels during the move!
Hi mates,
more progress over the weekend
I have a decades-old LS kit of a Pitts S-2A on the bench, too, as you probably noticed…
See you
Peter
That Pitts is on my list of planes to build someday. Such a neat little aircraft in real life.
Yours is looking good from what I can see.
On scalemates.com you can find my Pitts build blog
Hi mates, I’ve finished the paint job and started with the decals.
P.S. I should mention the clear parts, they are excellent and fit perfectly!
Good and great fitting clear parts are always a blessing in any aircraft build!
These are looking great. Jesper, that’s the best camo scheme for an A-model Mustang, IMO.
Very unique and interesting.
Hi mates,
yesterday I could finish my build, maybe a little weathering here and there, but I call it done!
Peter
That looks fantastic Peter. Really built up nicely. You should be proud!
Looks Great, Peter! Excellent NMF and nice markings.
Unfortunately all model building has come to a halt for me. Move, new baby, new job which is rather all-consuming, and now moving again because the rental home had multiple hidden issues.
Not fun, but hopefully the Mustang gets finished by the end of the year…
I am calling this one done. Special Hobby 1/72 P-51A in Operation Thursday markings.
It has been magnetized so it can go on a display base with my B-25 also in Operation Thursday markings and a future build of a P-47 razorback on the display as well.
I feel I might have overdone the gun streaking on the wings, but on the other hand the 12,7mm guns were inserted fully in the wings and they were in action almost daily during the operation, so residue must have build up.(?)
Looking forward to see more builds in this campaign
And another great finish Jesper… and a I noticed a good couple of nice builds still going on…
Thanks, Bert. Much appreciated
Looks great, Jesper! I like the weathering, your Mustang really seemed to be in a lot of action
Thank you very much!
