I might jump on board with this one … I think it’s the old Academy M4A2 76 lend lease one …

It certainly will not be historically correct, and I probably won’t even finish it as a Russian lend-lease one. Also, the tracks will probably be the incorrect type, so I will not need telling about that :grin: (I think I have a rubber band set somewhere … )

It does have a resin sand bag added armour kit on it which I think is the reason I put it to one side and forgot about it for so long … I couldn’t face painting that part lol…

I think it’s been properly languishing in a drawer for at least 5 years if not a few more …

I think the Russian mostly used the three bar tracks which is not in the kit. With a little styrene and moving the gas caps around you can make it a US A3 76. Then these options are available with the track.

I honestly have no idea where I got the tracks from Ron. If you really need them, I can look on eBay to see if I can find a cheap set of any Sherman tracks … If I can, I would be happy to send them to you.
Ref the sandbag armour, I think it’s the Legend set … I think … I got it cheap on eBay …

I think those tracks came with one of the Tamiya Shermans, but can’t remember which one.

The ‘cracked earth’ effect I added with some old Squadron Green putty, that was on its last legs, came out better than I expected.
