Hope you don’t mind me posting this here but it is vintage. Tamiya T34 1942, or so says the old catalogue. Originally built this some 50 years ago. For some unknown reason I never got rid of it. Always liked the figure so I pryed him loose to practice my figure painting on. Actually not that bad considering the age. Anyway, didn’t want to put him back into the tank since I thought he turned out pretty well. Decided I needed to redo the paint on the T34 so he would have a good looking ride. The logs and the box came with the kit. The PE on the intakes cam from On The Mark, one of the earliest makers of PE. Don’t look too close as my PE skills 50 ago were somewhator what nowadays are called pigments. Hoping to pick up an oldie so I can join the campaign. Thanks for indulging me.

Very nice model DV. That kit is vintage for sure. I hope you pick something interesting to build for the campaign. Excellent figure for 50 years old.

Seeing as we’re now live (despite still showing as Staging?) I’ll post my Landrover build that I started a few days ago! So far so good. Note the box went decades ago - I only saved the cover and contents in a more generic box.
PS: Just moved it from Staging to Active!

This of course is the progenitor of all the later Land Rover kits from Revell. I found it just fine, actually using this very kit on my NORTHAG/JOC Maastricht build, and also when I did a Brit one many moons ago. If you’re doing military versions then it needs a bit of close attention, but if not, then away you go. Smashing little kit - under-rated - and I wonder why we don’t see more on the tables.

I have a question: Does the no-aftermarket rules include alternative decal sheets? I have a 1997 Academy Hunter that I’d like to paint in Rhodesian colors.

I remember reading the takedown of the second kit on the old Armorama site.
You must use the kit decals unless they shatter. If the kit decals are unusable, then you can use aftermarket decals.

I tested a couple of decals from the sheet, and they work fine. So I’ll pass my turn for this campaign.
