Of course, never say that to a cougar.
You mean an old lady who goes after younger men, right?
Thats looking really nice Matt, again - not something I would ever do, so it is nice to see them built here … top job.
Ryan… @Tank_1812 gama is looking pretty nice … And I cant believe you are building so much !!!
Frank @frank really nice work and painting on yours. Wings being folded gives it a nice different look as well.
Thanks John. It’s a great kit of a classy car.
Thanks but building is never the issue, model wise it’s the finishing I have issues with.
At last I get the torpedorails on my sub (Verlinden Seehund).
There were (I had ;-)) some issues with the degree angle from the rail on the body.
Strugled a week with a solution, but finally I found a good drawing which clarified the prob.
A little more progress on the MiniArt T-55.
Fuel drums fitted.
Checking fit of turret and fender assemblies before final assembly and paint.
Will clean up with degreasing fluid before any paint.
The “sludge” in the bottom of my thinner brush wash-out bottle was my very first transparent weathering finish. Many years ago. (1980)
I build one last year, so respect! Was quite some fiddly work, like for instance the fuel lines!
Thank you. Yes, the fuel lines were a challenge to get off the sprue and clean up, but they all seemed to fit exactly where they were supposed to. I didn’t break a single one (yet)! The masking tape you see in the last picture is holding two lines away from the main body so the can be placed over from the top when all is tight and glued. This kit is incredibly well engineered for fit but there are an incredible number of parts and some are extremely small to clean up and then fit. This is a commission build so lots of pressure to get it right!
To punish myself further for such audacity I’ve started to do the same to a Dragon Opel Blitz. But I’ve hit the buffers where the bonnet is concerned. It’s just too delicate so I’m keeping the Dragon bonnet.
Messing around with the goat bits.
My thought was to have the driver seated and small working party (2-3) folks loading gear with the tailgate down.
Plus a little more work on the GPA.
@Tank_1812 hey Ryan - you’ve been busy - both projects looking good!
I was working on a smaller project. Assembling and converting a British quad to a US version. My version is supposed to look like the really nice LiveResin kit. Instead, I converted Bronco kit, which is pretty good as-is, but not what I wanted. I looked on-line for the LR kit and seemed to find several copies - which now pop up as the advertising banner when I open Kitmaker!
Toughest part was converting from right, to left side steering, though I left the shifter on the left - should have fixed that I suppose:
This was a quick little project, which I’ll use in the cargo bed of another project -
Cheers, and happy Friday!
Nick
Thanks. They pale in comparison to your speed and works.
Okay, added a few more trinkets to the Bergepanzer including making a stowage rack out of scrap PE. I am hoping to primer it tomorrow weather permitting. I also plan on making a small tarp to cover the entry to the interior.
Not included in these pics are the other tools and accessories of which I might actually have too much.
A delightful little appetizer, I see.

And a pitty for the parts you throw away afterwards, for my feeling half of the box.
I build the early type with crew from Miniart an Hornet heads. It all should go in a dio…
Today I will go on with the engine-place, I will bring everything together but not with glue, so I can paint it seperatly. I go on with the airbrush-guide, I feel safer by looking forward to the painting-job, until I got all the informations.
Before I start building I will read some pages in the chancellorsville-book, maybe a little nap✌
Have a nice day
That’s a very nice finish. I agree there are numerous parts not used, some for other versions, others it seems complete duplicates to my untrained eye.
