Only one of these (the Explorer) was brought by the postman, I bought the others from a friend to help reduce his stash (somehow the logic of that doesn’t make sense … )
You will need a bulk fuel tanker filled with glue for that stash Robin…
Glueing with pure solvents actually consumes very little solvent.
The last time I bought a 5 litre can (1.1 imperial gallon)
Not having the opportunity to build much saves even more …
Buy, buy, not build?
If I wait until I can start the build the kit will be out of production and impossible to get …
Sounds like a vicious circle you’re in…
uhm-hum,
sounds about right
but I have fun checking out the new kits and daydreaming about building them
The books arrived, shelby footes civil war trilogy. I can get them from the shop on monday, no time before
I got them! I think, it will be hard to read this books from the first to the last page. Maybe they are better to deepen the knowlege to things you’re interested in, you will find it for sure. But that’s the first view, I will see

OK, support arms pics, take 2!
I think these are what you mean John…
I was at Tankfest today and before the masses arrived I was able to sneak into the VCC and found a Challenger prototype with skirts off but supports on. Not sure if they were same on production tanks?
So if you double click on that link it will take you to an updated album, with and extra 13 pics of those brackets. Interestingly, of the three each side, the front link has a steeper downward angle than the other two, and you can just make that out from this shot taken looking forward down the right hand side.
And to add even more confusion, the front links looks different at the arm ends. Front link thus…
Other two thus…
Hope that helps. If you do want measurements, I’ll be there again on Sunday and I think I could stick a tape measure in to get the length of both types, as clearly the front one should be longer!
As an avid collector of books, not on that particular subject all be it, to own three volumes in a slip case like those would be a pleasure.
Enjoy your books, they look good.
Watto.
Terry, you have gone above and beyond mate … those shots are perfect and all I need, so dont worry about getting measurements. Top undercover work … thanks mate, I owe you !!
Thank you, I’m sure I will enjoy the reading
I guess these books are of great value.
Don’t know much about the American Civil War.
Courtesy of my sister…
The sheet on the left is for an assembled Panzer III Ausf. M and maybe a future Panzer 38(t) Ausf. G. The sheet on the right is for a future Movie Star Campaign entry.
I was wrong, had read the first chapter, it’s really good to read. Tells the big story with many little story’s about the acting people and the things had happen. Really good
So it was a weekend just not last weekend.
I think this can work for you @frank
