Trumpeter 40cm

Master1 40cm

Master2 40cm

I think Master2 probably matches the size best for what I need.

Hope that helps.

Hi Robert, i’m going to have a crack at the CEV variant (i’m an ex-Armoured Engineer myself) and get the mine roller to go with it.

But, the kit doesn’t include decals for a CEV variant - do AM decals exist for such a vehicle do you know?

I actually don’t know anymore, as I haven’t built anything since 2015 when I lost the fine motor skills in my hands do to chemical exposure and a spinal injury. I m sure someone makes stencil templates or did. I had a whole collection of them. None specifically for any version but could be adapted for any and all
Good luck and I wanna see the results

The mine roller was used with the late version. Pics not so sure unless you wanna ask M Mass .

I found some stencils, although they are quite expensive - so thanks for the tip.

Last question, the research i’ve done suggests it is based on a Merkava Mk IV chassis, but the kit supplied tracks appear to be from a Mk III?

You can use the MkIII or MkIV tracks… no problem cause you see both being used…

@TeeAge, following up on DSPIAE’s aluminum file per prior discussion.

It cuts very well, definitely an aggressive file for trimming. Happy with testing on plastic and would buy again. Probably would work well on resin parts if one has a way control the resin dust.

It’s made of aluminum ? Not the ideal material for a file if so.

Yes, aluminum/aluminum alloy file or sanding board etc. I like the other DSPIAE tools I’ve tried so I figured might as well try this file too.

I also have a glass file that works well for polishing plus a couple of metal file sets.
