You scare me with such facts!
If by postman we mean me, and by delivered means driving it 5 hours home from All Nations Hobby in Stephen City Virginia, then I snared this Monogram oldie.
A respectable collection of ancient plastic…
That’s an hour and a half from where I live. Might be a decent road trip…
I’m pretty impressed with his selection. Old stuff and new stuff. He has it organized very well, too.
Went in heavy on Heavy Hobby for 3D goodness for a fat stash of old Tamiya & Dragon Panther kits.
Parts look good to me.
Fire extinguishers came with info decal a nice plus.
Jerry cans for Jerry
Looks like a massive time saver for tools on old Panther’s.
Wow! Thats quite some stash of 3D parts. The detail is very impressive, nice and sharp…![]()
Have fun…

This arrived yesterday, staff officer and aid coming to look over the new Porsche tanks that I’m slowly adding to my build pile.
I’ve wanted a Merkava for a while. The conflict in Israel piqued my interest.

Was also out of spray can dull cote which I decant for the airbrush. Saw it now comes in a bottle!

An unusual subject and a kit manufacturer i’m not familiar with.
Do you use Dullcote straight from the bottle? What would you thin it with, if not?
I’ve seen it but, have shied away because of lack of information on how to use it…

CAM’s seems to be a subsidiary of Riich Models and their line of Vickers 6t. tanks is the only modern game in town- the alternative is the Mirage Hobby line of kits and they score among the worst I’ve built, by all means(buildability, accuracy and level of detail).
This is an interior kit and it has been on my wishlist ever since it was announced(almost 3 years ago)
Cheers,
Angel
As far as I know, it used to come only in a spray paint can. I would decant it out that into a glass jar and spray it straight up no thinner (it’s already very thin)
I have never used the stuff in the glass bottle l but on first inspection it looks to be the same consistency and color. I imagine I’ll also be able to airbrush it straight out of the bottle.
It is great stuff for giving a final matte coat to your models!
I use only the version in the glass bottle. It is great stuff to make something dead flat. I run it through the airbrush with the .5 needle at somewhat high pressure without diluting it.
I am happy I discovered the glass bottle version. Much easier than decanting
BTW - One can make Testor’s Dull Cote from the glass bottle even flatter by adding Testor’s Metallizer thinner or equivalent. Had a friend that liked to do that for dead flat finishes or dust etc.
